Product is ok - works for minor tears
It works on apparel with minor tears - not on anything really catastrophic, though

small patch
Worked Fine But has very small patch. Wont be sufficient in most cases.

Like an epoxy glue in a strip. Another great find!
This clear fabric "tape", will repair tears or holes, in any type of fabric. Rafts, tents, sleeping bags, tire tubes, and on and on. Too much to list. Pictures will tell you more . And it gets stronger with time, like cement does. It comes with 3 different types of patches. 2 1"x1" pathches for small holes, and a long strip for cutting needed sizes. This is cool, it comes with a thick monofiliment line to repair the edges of material. Like if you rip the edge of a tent, you just fold an inch of fabric over this stiff filiment, and then apply the tape over it. That edge will never tear in that spot again. I've never seen that feature in a repair set, and I didn't know I was getting it. No messy glue. Fantastic stuff. And it is clear, and stretchable.

Durability
Quite the expense for such a small amount of “tape”. Would have figured I’d get a little more for my hard earned money

Works, but ...important...read my review
All in all a good product. I would buy it again. That being said.... It's a bit pricey for the quantity included. It's tape...not precious metal. I used it to repair a couple of tears in the attachment points of my polypropylene portable garage. I cleaned the area well with the alcohol pads supplied. At this point adhesion was not good. It was about 70 degrees F outside. I used a pinpoint lighter to gently heat up the material from behind without burning it and then a bit over the tape and it was like it was welded on! I cannot stress enough that if you do this ...DO NOT scorch the material or the tape! And do not cause what you're working on to go on fire! I do not speak from experience as I did not do any of that, but I can see it possibly being a problem for some people. It just needs some heat to work best...maybe a heat gun used judiciously...or even a blow dryer. Last...The backing on the tape is not easy to remove. To the manufacturer....you need to do something about the value for the money to the end user. You either need to improve on the initial adhesion of the adhesive you're using...or put the whole blow dryer thing in the instructions (or maybe the age of what I received caused that issue?) . Make the backing removal more user friendly in regards to peeling it off. Time will tell on the longevity of this product, but it's holding up so far.

Not so easy to use!! BEWARE!
Well here’s what happened when i tried to use it. It just stuck to my hands and then to itself and there goes my $8 down the drain. It was impossible to even cut into pieces cuz it kept getting stuck to the scissorsI thought there was another piece in there but it was just a stupid piece of paperUPDATE REVIEW:I went from a 1 star to 4 only because I got a replacement. Even that one I messed up. It is VERY hard to apply (depending on what you are trying to do.) I was trying to patch the INSIDE of my purse and it was very difficult because this stuff just stuck to itself and there was no going back. Also it came with a very small amount leaving no room for errors. It is very strong which is great but applying it is very difficult.
