Very pleased with this purchase! I’ve looked around and this is by far the best price for this size anywhere online. And it’s real wood in a real metal frame, not a cheap knock off! You don’t get to choose your wood so the style you receive is a surprise, but that seems to be true even of more expensive listings.This art came bubble wrapped and in a square thick-cardboard box. So despite signs on the outside of the box of having been manhandled by the delivery process, the product inside was safe and in good condition. I appreciate that it was packaged well.It comes with a hanger on the back so you can put it up right away. It would have been nice to have it included but not attached so I could choose how to orient the piece (as well as which side to display) instead of having it decided for me, but the orientation/side they chose is probably what I would have picked anyway so it worked out. The hanger is really close to the edge though so I had to use a bare picture nail instead of a picture hook to hang it in order for nothing to show. It’s straight into drywall, not a stud, but it’s been hanging for about a week and seems fine so I think it’ll be okay.Some of the screws on the frame don’t lie flat which bugs me a bit, and it had a tiny scratch on the wood, but at this price point I am not going to complain! Had I paid $120 or more like I’ve seen elsewhere for the same thing/size I would have been annoyed enough to drop a whole star, because at that price point I’d expect perfection. But for under $50 I’m willing to accept minor imperfections—and as far as imperfections go, these are not that big of a deal. You only notice them up close anyway since the screws match the frame in color and the scratch is so small.My only true complaint is that I wish they offered this in larger sizes, such as 22”–28”. This is 16”, but that’s the only size anyone seems to offer for this kind of wall art so maybe there’s a technical/practical reason why it can’t be bigger. I don’t know.I’ve included a photo where I drew a person the same height and proportions as me, so you can reference it for the size of the art. I am 5’8”, the doorframe is about 7 feet, and the ceiling is about 8 feet. The table is about 32” wide and 30.5” tall. You can see why I think the art would have been more proportional to the space if it had been larger, but I will make this work with the other things I’ll add to the wall and table top.Overall I’m super happy with this and highly recommend it! And seriously, you won’t find this quality and this size anywhere online for a better price (assuming it continues to be the $45–50 it was when I bought it Dec ‘22), because I did my research trying to find the best deal. I did not see a single alternative across multiple websites under a hundred dollars, and many were even more expensive. This one is worth it!

Looks good on the wall

I hired an interior designer To design my bedroom. One of the pieces she suggested was a glossy wood block that cost over $100. In addition, it was super small.I searched on Amazon for months trying to find something. One day this showed up and I couldn’t be happier.Pros:1. Looks stunning. It looks even better in person.2. Looks expensive. People always ask me if I bought it at a high end retailer and are shocked by the fair price.3. Easy to hang. It comes with a simple hook on the back making it easy to hang. I used a monkey hook and hung it in less than 5 seconds.Cons:1. The product description says you need to provide special treatment to the wood every couple years. I probably won’t do this to be honest. Plus, there were no instructions about how to do it in the box.2. (Not a huge con) expect variation in the wood. No piece will be identical but the look will be similar. I, however, love how unique it is.3. Can’t think of anything else!I love this piece. I think it’s stunning and truly eye catching. I’m glad to have found it.

This is well made and beautiful enough. I just wish mine wasn't so chunky. I have one very large, solid piece with no character and a much smaller, quarter the size, piece that extremely nice with good character and grains. I'm pleased enough not to return because I understand not every piece of wood is the same. I purchased one planning to purchase 3 if they were as nice as described. But I am only going to stick with the one I purchased since it wasn't "perfect."

This is exactly what I expected based on the description. It's solid wood with a metal ring, ready to hang. I think it looks great with my sea grass. Buy it!

It is hit and miss with what pattern you will get. I wanted to have a set of 3 and 2 out of them were not pleasing. Some even came in broke.
