Ok, I have to start by saying that though I prefer fresh mashed potatoes, I have forever been in love with instant mashed potatoes. And, not all instant potatoes are the same, though they should be. I have a specific flavor/texture/"stiffness" combo I look for, and if I can find it in ONE package, it's a beautiful thing. And these instant potatoes are a beautiful thing! I purchased these and another name-brand at the same time so I could compare them, as I had never tried either of them. The other brand was good, but it lacked a little bit in two of my preferred categories. Wouldn't prevent me from getting them, but only in a pinch.But oh my, these Betty Crocker ... Butter Potatoes met my preferences and then some. Seriously. These are now my go-to instant potatoes. I even served them to my MIL the other day, and I never serve her anything "instant" (esp. since the first time she had my home-made mashed potatoes and RAVED over them. lol - even asked for my "secret" to getting them so smooth, fluffy, and tasty).I truly highly recommend these. As long as you follow the directions, you cannot go wrong.

We love these buttery potatoes. Easy to make, fast too. Just don't add too much liquid, can become soupy. Makes fine mashed potato patties.

We usually buy a different brand, but the price was right on these. They had a great texture and taste. Better than homemade.

I use bulk powdered potatoes. I bought these because I could not find anythingin Amazon in bulk for less. I like the butter flavor. They last forever, however they are still a bit overpriced. I rate them 4 stars.

Use the instant potatoes all the time for price, convince and more important the taste❤️

Good Flavor makes a lot of portionsI'm personally going to get some powdered milk so to have it when there's no more fresh milk for Preparation

Purchased these for summer break. Figured my kids would like an easy option for lunches. They add a little butter or some bacon crumbles and cheese and they are happy. Definitely a good value for the money! I like that they can do them on their own.
