My daughter has worn this style from this brand since before she could walk. It’s her favorite sandal and she gets excited when it comes in ever year. We own most of the colors. Such a timeless, class shoe for children. Goes great with every outfit and easy to get on/off. No issues with smelly feet. Great shoe for little feet!

I grew up wearing this brand of sandals so was very excited to buy these for my son! They are made well, are very durable, and match everything. The only reason I keep replacing them is because my son's foot grows quickly!

I have been buying the "Salt Water Sandals by Hoy Shoe Surfer Sandal" for our daughter ever since she was 2 years old (she is 5 now) and have loved them ever since. She has never complained about wearing them and they look so cute with all outfits. I love that she can wear them rain or shine and I can easily wipe them clean with a damp cloth. I will say that they seem to run a little small and it's better for them to have extra length at the toe.

This is the second pair of these I have bought. My daughters wears them all day every day and play hard. They can run in them as well as in tennis shoes. The first pair I bought is now being worn by my youngest and they are still holding up great! Both of my girls love these and they are cute for casual play or with little dresses. Not only have they held up well but they stay looking nice. We've worn them to the beach and they are fine and sand seems to fall right out of them. Worth the money. I have a pair of the women's sandals and they are not the same though....these have a thicker sole which I think is key to making them so comfortable. The only comparable sandal we've owned are Keens but they aren't as cute with dresses and they get sand and junk stuck in them. Also...at first it is kinda a pain to buckle them all the time BUT my three year old can now buckle by herself and I think it is partly because we own these so she gets to practice. Buckles take a little time but they don't wear out like velcro.

This review is for the dark brown ones in particular. The sandals seem comfortable and my daughter enjoys them, but we have only worn them intermittently for ~1.5 months and they are already showing severe signs of wear. The interior white suede portion of the leather has separated in numerous places from the dark brown exterior portion of the sandal. Chunks of the dark brown have come off and it is cracked all over the sandal revealing the light/white portion underneath.If these were $5 sandals from a superstore I wouldn't have minded, but as it stands now the superstore sandals we bought her last summer lasted longer than the Salt Waters did. Eventually the sole of those wore through. With the Salt Water Sandals, the sole looks to be around for a long time, but everything above that probably won't last one summer.Really cheap material in the dark brown. We purchased a different color for our other child and hers seem to be holding up a bit better, but she is also a little less rough on shoes.Would not recommend the dark brown, other colors may be better - but I'm not going to pay the extra for Salt Water sandals that are outlived by cheapo ones from any big box retailer.Edit: After contacting the company they sent us a brand new pair of the dark brown that are holding up much better (thus far). Great, prompt customer service and it looks like it was a problem with the earlier shoes we received.

Hi. I loved the look of these but they are a great feet for toddlers with “thick” feet/high instep. They also caused him to trip while walking.

These are our absolute favourite shoes for family photos/church in the summer. Cute and stylish that look great with dresses or jean shorts. We’re on our 5th pair. Just keep buying the next size up.

These are the best shoes! They look nice and can go in and out of the water, can even be washed in the washing machine but they are real leather. Will order more for an upcoming holiday.

These sandals are great for my kids who don't have a wide or big foot. They are adjustable and can expand as they grow. They are waterproof which is such a bonus at splash pads or rainy day puddles. I find they match just about every outfit so are a perfect pack for vacations. Because they have straps that adjust tightly around the ankle, they are secure on my kids feet and not sloppy. They also aren't able to undo them - which is great as a baby but not as useful once they become an independent toddler. Would highly recommend these sandals - have the Surfer ones for both my daughter and son.

Perfect for the summer! They are really cute and comfy. My 2.5 yo daughter wore them every day during summer and they still look good. Will buy them again next year!

You can adjust the height and ankle with the buckles so it’s great for her as she’s growing. She can wear them until next year hopefully
