The baby saw has been great so far. I do spray the chain and bar with WD40 every 5 to 10 cuts. keeps the bar and chain cool. Have had no problem with chain getting loose. I do clean and check all parts after using. Battery has done well. About 1 hour before I have to change. Light weight and easy to handle. Great for cutting up 5" stuff and smaller. I have ordered 4 for kids and other people that has used mine and wanted one. Remember you can't use to much lubrication. It's a must. Bottom line is I love my Cheap little saw !!!

Overall, this is a great product and i recommend you get one . It sure beats using hand clippers! You hold the branch in one hand and use the saw with the other. Then put the cut branch directly into can. No need to bend over to pick up cut-offs. And it really will quickly cut limbs up to about 4 inches, no lie! (no can do that with hand clippers!!). For longer wear, I dip the chain tip 2 inches into a can of used motor oil every so often, although this is not required by the manual. So far, i have not needed to recharge any batteries, so battery life is at least 2 hours. I have both gas and electric saws that are much bigger, but I grab this one first because it is lighter and so much easier on your back.

First of all, I do not write reviews without testing the product well first. During first day of use I was happy with it even though the cut wasn't smooth. When the first battery died I charged it right away so I have one reserved while I am using the 2nd battery. I was disappointed though because it was not taking charge at all. I was not sure if the charger was the issue or the battery. I then contacted the seller and they sent me replacement batteries. Meanwhile I decided to use the 2nd battery then the same thing happened it would not take a charge. I informed the seller that I am suspecting the issue might be the charger because I didn't think it's possible to have both batteries not taking charge. I asked if they could replace the charger. The response was that they would try. Since I was not getting a definite answer I decided to order a new 6 inch saw instead. I couldn't wait for when they decide to try. Then when the replacement battery came after using its charge I put it on the charger and they both work fine. The charger light was red when the battery were connected and turn green when fully charged and i never saw red light with the old batteries. The new ones do take charge, so I am finally able to use my saw again. I used it today as a back up for the 6 inch saw and I didn't ran out of battery with this saw. While the 6 inch was short lived.

I purchased this to use on a wood project and not cutting tree limbs. This mini chainsaw is lightweight and easy to use. First time for me to use any kind of chainsaw, but this was a good experience, though I am left handed and had to use righthand to reach over and push the button while pressing the 'trigger' with the left hand. It seemed awkward at first, but that's nothing new for a lefty. I quickly became adept at using it for my wood project. I had to buy a 2nd minichainsaw because it overheated and the batteries 'died'.. but I attribute that to the extensive use I had put the chainsaw through. The 2nd one is still working and I've since cut 5 inch limbs, which requires some maneuvering.... but I love this little chainsaw. Now my 92 year old mother-in-law wants one, too. LOL.

I have one of these chain saws and love it, so I bought on for my sister who does pruning on her trees. Trimming on bushes and cutting off low hanging limbs..she loves it..said she took the chain off just to see if it was hard to do and she said it was a snap! It handles well and easy to maneuver..

After havin' a full size gas powered fantastic STIHL chainsaw in our mountain home for many years, we didn't expect much from this mini chainsaw for use in our suburban home garden, but WOW were we surprised . . . the two batteries last a LONG time, and even after a couple of days of use (sawing through branches even up to 6 inches in diameter), the chain is still sharp. We lubricate the chain often with silicone liquid lubricant (we don't know if that's a "recommended" lubricant for this tool, but, for us, it works GREAT, with zero buildup of debris that regular oil lubricants might accumulate), and we adjust the chain tension every so often to keep the appropriate tension, so yeah, HIGHLY impressed . . . FWIW . . .

No matter how much a tighten the bolt that holds the chain in place, it still gets loose and derails.Sorry piece of crap. I spend more time resetting the chain than I do cutting.

Was so happy to receive the battery operated chainsaw but was totally dissatisfied, disappointed and dejected by its non- performance?Tried it on a 3" branch, it just didn't penetrate even the bark.I borrowed my friends Chainsaw, from a different company, it went through the same wood like hot knife through butter.
