STOP, Leave & Find ANOTHER BRAND, or Read THIS Review for DETAILS
Find a different press this one is NOT useful at any price. I do not like to leave negative reviews and ignore some that I see as they do not appear to actually rate the product. Well here is an actual review of what is wrong with this item:1) I put 2 cloves in the press and squeezed the handle. Very little garlic came out of the press. Nowhere near what was expected, or what you would get after cutting of the ends. I would estimate less than 1/4-1/3 were the results. Instead much of the garlic was squeezed out onto the sides of the cup after the plunger was squeezed. I tried again by moving the large amount left directly over the cutting surface. Again, little came out.2) Not a precision product based on the amount of garlic that is pushed past the plunger and remains as waste on the sides. Plunger should be a tight fit into the body and little should not be forced thru the blade. Is this what NO PULP means? I cannot believe that is the case as most of a clove is usable and this just wastes good garlic.3) It appears to be stainless steel as described. I put it into the top rack of our dishwasher and after running the dishwasher a large amount of garlic remained in the cup of the unit. I did clean out the grate and the cup, by reversing the plunger and scooping out with my finger, but a fair amount of garlic remained insider the cup on top of the grate. I put it thru another cycle and it still did not come clean. I did not buy an item to make chopping garlic quicker while cleaning up afterwards several times more work than cleaning a knife and cutting board.4) Dishwasher safe: Well after just 1 use and 2 trips thru the dishwasher the rubber grip fell off.My opinion is this item is USELESS. I will be throwing it out and am looking for an alternative. Its so bad, I will use it one more time just to picture the futility of its usage.

Worst garlic press ever
This garlic press is a complete piece of garbage. I have never used a crappier garlic press in my life. Which is funny because its more expensive than the rest of them. The "no pulp" feature basically wastes 90%+ of every garlic clove. After crushing 8 cloves, I had a tiny pile of garlic that made it through the press, and over 90% of the garlic was pressed into a "pulp" ball. I tried to press the pulp through one more time to get enough garlic to make my meal, and one of the handles broke off the press from squeezing it to hard. The thing lasted an entire 5 minutes before breaking, and didn't even do its job properly in that short time period. So I threw the thing straight in the garbage.. Buy a standard cheap garlic press instead of this one.

Simply Does Not Work - Awful
Worst garlic press I've ever owned and I've bought a bunch. Now I need to buy another that actually works.Whoever made and marketed this device never tried to use it on a clove of garlic.Had the features I was looking for: heavy duty construction, cleaning teeth, stainless steel. But put a clove of garlic in it and press ... 90% of the garlic stays in the feed slot. It does not press the garlic through. If you want to completely waste your money ... by all means, buy this awful product.

Pess On!
This is a dandy garlic press. It is large enough for large cloves to be crushed or a few smaller ones together. I tried pressing a clove without peeling as someone suggested you could do. That didn't work for me, but as long as I peeled them first, it made short work my favorite of ingredients! It is easy cleaning, as stated before. It has little "nibs" on both sides of the crushing arm. So after crushing, you can swing it all the way back the other way & it pushes the left over bits out of the holes! Amazing little gadget!

Not worth buying
I was excited to purchase this durable garlic press because I love that toasted garlic taste with rice. To my surprise, I was so disappointed when first used this because it didn't even crushed the entire 1 clove of garlic I placed inside, it only crushed a quarter of it. The rest was just left pressed inside the pressing plate. The one I bought from the dollar store before which is made of cheap hard plastic/ceramic worked better than this.๐

Doesn't work well
piece of junk. looks impressive all shiny and is heavy implying durability. When I try to crush garlic, I get very little yield. There is a tremendous amount of pulp left in the chamber. There are two "stops", one on the inside of each handle that prevent you from squeezing all of the garlic bulb through the press. Guess you get what you pay for...

Does Nothing
I LOVE fresh pressed garlic. I had an OXO Stainless Steel garlic press that I used until I literally snapped it. So when I needed a new one I tried this one. Don't bother. I squeezed and squeezed and then I had my husband try and it did NOTHING. Basically it just tenderized the garlic clove. Just put little holes in it, but didn't actually crush, or juice or do anything to the clove. I just threw it in the trash and went back to OXO. Don't waste your money.

Not Stainless as Advertised
This is absolute junk. The handles bent the first time I used it making it worthless. I bought it because I thought it was actually stainless steel. It seems to be a very soft metal that is coated with a shiny surface. I only wish I used it sooner so I could return it. Save your money and buy a quality garlic press or you'll end up like me and buy twice.
