Noah Harris came up with a really great book about wolf-shifter fighters
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.Noah Harris came up with a really great book about wolf-shifter fighters. Of course, it’s illegal to hold such fights, but Noah sucks us into the powerful world of male Alpha’s knocking each other around for money or release pent up energy or anger. One such fighter is Noah’s MC, Bryant. Bryant’s father, now deceased, was also a wolf-shifter fighter. His winnings helped bring in extra money that his omega-mate spent on drugs, alcohol and betting (Bryant’s other father was a real loser). Bryant got into fighting for the money because after his sister’s and his Alpha father died and their omega dad took all the money and left them they had nothing. Bryant was still in high school but eighteen and his sister, Anna, was around seven. It was a hard life for them, and Bryant had to fight for custody of his sister to keep her out of the foster system. Then had tried other jobs but couldn’t make enough money. With his winnings, his sister and him live comfortably now. Anna’s in high school now, seventeen and a strong-willed Alpha herself. She didn’t like her brother fighting, mostly because it was illegal, but also for her brother’s health.Bryant had trained and fought to learn his style of fighting and became one of the number five fighters at the bar he fought at. The people running the fights were fairer to their fighters than any other embellishment hosting these fights. Bryant does have friends, except for Jackie the bartender. He seemed to wiggle his way into Bryant’s life a little bit, but even Jackie didn’t know Bryant’s past. When Bryant came to fight one night there was a new rookie fighting in the ring. He caught Bryant’s attention and he stopped to watch. When the young man came to Bryant’s side if the ring he gave the boy some advice and reluctantly used his advice. Bryant was impressed with his determination, spirit and for using his advice that he thought the boy could turn out to be a good fighter; but definitely a greenhorn.Jake (MC) tries his best to get Bryant to agree to teach him to fight and their bantering goes on for awhile until he could answer Bryant’s question why he wanted to fight. When he final told Bryant the truth it help Bryant to make a decision that he would with all these conditions. Throughout their training, they became close friends. Now Jake was from a wealth family and the only male omega, with an older sister an Alpha and a younger brother who’s an Alpha. Jake never fit into his father’s plans and so his father and mother tried arranging different Alpha’s to be his mate. Jake’s stubborn, an a bit rebellious, which with everyone around him handling him like as fragile person it’s no wonder. But Bryant treats him differently because he thinks Jake’s an Alpha which makes it hard with his attraction towards him. It’s not until Bryant has to fight Jake in the ring that he learns the young man’s secret and almost lost the fight to Jake because his scent distracted him.I love the way Noah Harris brings the two MCs together and become closer. It just flows into a beautiful friendship to lovers. Bryant’s and Jake’s bantering and teasing each other in lightly fun joking works perfectly for this newly forming couple. It’s a wonderful book and I highly recommend reading it. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful MM Paranormal
This was an awesome read!! The storyline was strong and the characters were well developed. This is a story of two shifters who both were fighters in the underground illegal world. Bryant was an alpha who was fighting to support his sister and himself. He had done this for years and was one of the top 5 fighters. One day a rookie fighter asks Bryant to train him. Bryant knew Jake was an omega, even though Jake tried to mask his scent with an inhibitor. Bryant didn't feel Jake should be fighting because if any other alphas found out it could get very dangerous for him, the alpha could go into a rut going after Jake aggressively. Eventually Bryant agreed to train him. As they spent time together Bryant started having feelings for Jake, ones that his wolf didn't want to deny. He wanted to claim Jake and he did. Then the ultimate test happened. Jake was brought up against a hugh and mean alpha who smelled his omega scent and went crazy on Jake. Bryant stepped in. This is their amazing story. Loving, HOT, and action packed. A great story that all should read. Highly recommend this. Can't wait for the sequel. Noah Harris never disappoints. One of the best in the MM Paranormal genre.

Almost there
This is one of those books where I enjoyed the content and getting to know the characters but the way the story was told was not my cup of tea. Because I liked the story line and MC's, I will read the sequel but if it wasn't already out then I couldn't see myself waiting for and anticipating it.The writing style came off very step by step. This happened and then that happened and he said then she said kind of thing. Good plot, good story line, likable MC's but needs to work on how to make the reader feel that they are in the moment with the characters. How to make the reader feel what the characters feel. Less play by play and more showing instead of telling.

Fighting to survive, and finding love along the way.
I'm definitely a lover, not a fighter, so books or movies that center around fighting have never appealed to me ... until now! The Underground Werewolf Fight Club series is terrific. This author has changed my mind and turned me into a lover of these fighting Werewolves. This story is about a brother and sister who are abandoned by their drug/alcohol addicted Omega dad after their Alpha father dies in an accident. Struggling desperately on their own and determined to stay together they manage to survive. In fact they're doing pretty well now, 8 years later. They have an apartment, plenty of food, and a small amount of money saved for the future. The reason they're able to stay afloat is because of the fight club. It pays well (if you win), but it's illegal. Keeping a low profile is nesasary, but it's a lonely way to live. The romantic relationship in this book is between two men, so if you have any issues with same sex lovers you need to move on. I found every aspect of this story interesting, and liked all the main characters. It's well written, and flows smoothly. Sex scenes are deliciously descriptive. I'm looking forward to reading more from this author!

A must read
After Bryant's father's death, he fought to gain custody of his sister. In order to make ends meat, he picked up his father's profession as an illegal werewolf fighter.Jake is an Omega masquerading as an Alpha in the fight club, which is dangerous. He is from a wealthy alpha family.Bryant was in the ring with Jake when he got a whiff of Jake's omega scent. It almost cost him the fight. He made Jake aware that he knew his secret. When Jake asked Bryant to train him, Bryant reluctantly agreed. The more they trained, the more Bryant wanted to claim Jake as his mate.During Jake's fight with an alpha, his scent was released and the alpha went crazy. Bryant had to step in.Noah Harris is a new author to me and I will be reading more of his fabulous books! I would definitely recommend this book!!

I never knew fighting could be so romantic!
I wasn’t sure about the subject matter here. I’m not normally drawn to books about fighting but I was wrong. This book is so well written and Noah has put enough romance and tension into the story to keep me hooked. I needed to know what would happen. Bryant is a single minded Alpha. Making a life for him and his younger sister has been his focus since high school and fighting is how he pays the bills despite the dangers. Jake is a strong Omega, posing as an Alpha, who for reasons of his own is determined to succeed in the illegal world of werewolf fighting. Instantly drawn to each other Bryant agrees to train Jake. It’s hard working so close together in training and when Bryant smells Jakes Omega scent, despite Jake trying to cover it up, he eventually has to admit there is more to their relationship than running the streets and trails and sparring in the ring. When Jake kisses Bryant it’s game over despite a few hitches regarding Jakes family. Sparks fly in the bedroom as is always the case with Noahs books and no sooner has Bryant accepted that Jake is ‘his’ than he is having to rescue him from a potential rape when another Alpha also smells that Jake is an Omega. Noah always manages to bring a darker element to his books which I absolutely love. There is a Happy for now ending and there will be a second book which I’m definitely looking forward to. Note I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Another amazing book.
I loved the start to another series from this amazing author. I love the underground fighting. It's so gritty raw and realistically written especially the descriptions of the pain and damage from fighting.Bryant and Jake are both damaged by there families but come together despite them both fighting it in different ways. I love that Jake is fighting despite the stigma of him being an omega.I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

A different kind of fight club
In the gritty environment of underground fight club style, a particular bar has underground werewolf fights. Of course, this story is based on the idea that alpha werewolves naturally fight for supremacy, and in this bar/fight club the alphas are there for the money, not to win over leaderships. The interesting twist is the discovery of an omega, naturally submissive, who has come to prove his own ability to fight...risking discovery and possible unfortunate consequences. The universal angst from denial of personal feelings, refusal of a possible relationship and a few family problems carry the reader through a series of fight encounters, the slow awakening of dormant needs and the personal growth of the two protagonists. As always in Harris's carefully constructed worlds, sentiments and life situations are well thought out, finely developed and emotionally involving.
