Artisan 2-Piece Professional Baking Set with 2/3-Size Cookie Sheet Pan and Silicone Baking Mat with Red Border

I currently have the half sheet silicone baking mat and so I needed a larger, full-sheet size mat to fit my other baking sheet pan. This Artisan Baking Sheet Non- Stick Baking Mat is an excellent addition to my baking tool collection set. The dimensions are 1 inches x 21 inches x 15 inches so it is pretty substantial in thickness, weight and quality. If you spend a lot of money buying parchment paper and aluminum foil for all your baking needs, then you should really consider investing in these reusable silicone mats. The edges to this silicone mat have a thick red border so that you can easily space your baking items away from the edge of the pan allowing for good cooking results – nicely browned and crispy items. There are so many other uses for this silicone mat other than just baking cookies and biscuits – anything sticky and gooey is no problem for this Artisan silicone baking mat.Some other uses include: making candy and marshmallow, rolling out and kneading doe, use it as a liner to catch spills when baking lasagna or cheesy casseroles, roasting potatoes and vegetables, I also use it for making BBQ chicken wings and ribs and I find that flavors and odors don’t penetrate into the mat which is great, baking a small size pizza! Another use for the silicone mats is that you can use two of them to keep baked items flat, or to flatten something that you need to be flat. (e.g., when baking sheets of phyllo dough that you wish to keep flat, you can place one silicone mat on top to keep them from puffing up unevenly).

I bought this sheet because I wanted to start making my own granola. I am quite pleased with the quality of both the aluminum baking sheet and the silicone mat. The actual outside measurement of the large pan I bought is 21" x 15". This fits perfectly in my oven but may be too large for others. I just store the pan in the oven since it fits and is no big deal to remove if I need the oven for something else.I can make about 7 cups of granola in this pan and the silicone pad makes it super easy for cleanup afterward. Since the pan really does not get dirty at all I just wipe it out with a towel after I pull the silicone pad out - the pad washes easily in the sink. I don't have to wrestle with the big pan trying to get it washed since as i mentioned it doesn't even get dirty.My only critical comment is that the pan (probably the silicone pad as well) is made in China and I would prefer to buy USA made but that does not mean I am not happy - very good quality and perfect for my purposes. I plan to buy another so I can make 2 pans of granola at the same time.

I wasn't sure where the product was made (not included in description), but it was made in China (like almost everything). When compared to my Nordic Ware pans (made in U.S.A.) the workmanship in these pans looked cheap & sloppy. It had some sharp spots on the corners that I filed off.That being said, the pan is sturdy, heavy gauge aluminum and works well. It is large enough to cook a whole pound of bacon at once (that's really why I bought a 2/3 sheet size pan), or a whole lot of cookies. This is as large a pan that will fit in a standard household oven.

LOVE how big this baking sheet is! I love the silicone mat as well, it makes for PERFECT hamburger buns EVERY time. It's simple to clean, nothing sticks to it-it's amazing! The only problem we've had is with chocolate chip cookies-it leaves us sad every time. I would still highly recommend this!!

I got the 21"*15" pan with the red mat. I'm sure the pan works fine and the mat works fine, but the mat is much smaller than the pan. The description says the mat is 19.5"*13.5" when in fact it is closer to 18.6"*13.0". Since I have half sheet mats that fit half sheet pans perfectly, I'm returning this. I'll buy a pan and a mat (with cut-out-corners) separately.

Man, I love these cooking sheets. I bought two. They are large and fit my oven perfectly. My son-in-law ruined one by cutting a roast in the pan. The metal is soft. Don't do that. Otherwise, I still love it. (He replaced the pan for me, and he took the one he cut into home for his own baking.) The non-stick mat is a nice bonus, too.

This is a great pan. I've made just about everything on it since getting it a few months ago. I like making enough food for leftovers, and this pan handles it! The mat is great, I've used smaller ones from the same company for a while. They hold up well, if you follow the cleaning and storing directions.

It was a bargain and although it is big, makes for great cookies because can get so many on a sheet and the silicon liner which is easy clean makes it a breeze, even when bake sticky stuff like caramel. I ordered two so can be filling one while one is baking and is really better than using lots of littler sheets.
