Butt What a Fun Cozy!!
Just fun! Exactly what a cozy should be. Isabella Alan (Amanda Flowers) ends her Amish Quilt Shop Mystery Series as sharply as ever.In Murder, Handcrafted, we return to the quaint Amish village of Rolling Brook, Ohio. Actually, therein lies a great portion of the problems in this series... the Englischers who move in make the Amish antsy. Will they be able to maintain their way of life with tourists overrunning the town? Will the return of Englischer Angie spell permanent trouble for her Amish friend Jonah's marriage? And in this volume, electricity, forbidden to the Amish spells disaster for Amish and Englischer alike. Just how much investigating can Angie do before her boyfriend Sheriff Mitchell of the aquamarine eyes sets her straight? The Amish don't believe in the Abominable Snowman, yet it seems the Yeti has come and attracted unwanted publicity to Rolling Brook.I loved how the story flowed smoothly. Characters from previous books returned, either more likeable or more quirky and hilarious! Petunia the goat is a stroke of genius, although Angie is unbelievably patient with a goat that has a continual habit of head-butting her. Give yourself a fun break with this cozy!

A Perfect Ending for a Perfectly Wonderful Series!
Isabella Alan's fifth and final installment of the Amish Quilt Shop Mystery series is a 5 star read! I had to pace myself so I didn't read it all in one sitting. I had a hard time putting it down!Angie Braddock returns once again to solve another murder. This time the murder takes place at her parents new home which is going through a massive renovation. The electrician on the job ends up dead. The suspect list is long, each with a viable reason for doing in Griffin Bright (got to love the irony of the name!). Unfortunately, one of the suspects is Angie's childhood Amish friend, Jonah Graber. Angie knows it is up to her to clear Jonah's name.As the story evolves, Angie and her menagerie of people and pets, bring added depth and humor to the story (an Alan trademark). Add to the mix a few credible sightings of Bigfoot, and you have another Rolling Brook festival in the making! And you know what that means...a meeting of the Town Council! You'll just need to read for yourselves what happens next!As in all series sadly, an ending must come. The ending of Murder Handcrafted brought tears to my eyes. Isabella Alan skillfully used one beautifully written sentence to bring the five book series full circle. A more perfect ending could not of been had!Murder Handcrafted is an enjoyable must read!

Fun in Amish country!!!
I really love this series. What can you say when you have an author who can talk about an Amish quilt shop and Bigfoot in the same book and make it fly? I love Angie and her quirky mind, her loyalty to her friends English and Amish and her big heart. This is a mystery that involves all the characters we have come to know and love in this series as well as the animals of course!!!!! How Angie gets answers for all of her friends without making her boyfriend the Sheriff crazy makes for a great story, add the facts that the murder takes place in her parents yard and she has to meet her boyfriends parents and it just adds to the fun. Another fun read by Isabella Alan/Amanda Flower!!!!

One of my favorite Amish cozy series
Angie Braddock has settled into community of Rolling Brook, Ohio, friendly with both Amish and English. When her transplanted parents start a home improvement project, things take a turn for the worse when someone is electrocuted. One of Angie's old friends is a suspect and the crime echoes one from the past. Several books in, this series has continued to shine. I really like how Alan intersperses humor along with facts about Amish life. Now that Angie's officially the girlfriend of the Sheriff, and since the murder happened at her parents, her intervention seems inevitable. I've been glad to see that local Nubian goat Petunia has managed to retain her position as an important secondary character.

Absolutely Charming!
I love this series! The characters Angie Braddock & Sheriff James Mitchell are extremely likable & I love their burgeoning romance. I especially like the Amish characters of Rachel, Mattie, & Jonah (& little Petunia!) this time a man that Angie's parents have hired to help remodel their kitchen is murdered. Angie becomes involved when her best friend becomes a suspect. It's a well plotted page turner that I couldn't help being drawn into. This is an absolute must read series. ***Spoiler**** Loved the ending!

Another Amish Quilt Mystery Hit
This is another great book from the Amish Quilt Mysteries. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but I was so happy to finally see the relationship between Angie and her chief move to the next level. The murder and bigfoot sightings kept you guessing on who the murderer could be and what was going on with people seeing bigfoot. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series to see Angie's relationship move forward and see what murder she helps solve next.

Fun Summer Read
This is a fun series. I always enjoy seeing what kind of trouble Angie gets herself into. This time her mother is renovating the kitchen and needs Jonah's help when Angie's father gets injured. Unfortunately, this becomes an issue when the electrician on the job is murdered and all the evidence points to Jonah who blamed the electrician for a past death. As always it was a fun read following Angie as she followed the clues.
