Nice quality and works perfectly!
These were great! They're not "cheap" feeling at all. I was surprised at the quality. They were easy to use, the droppers worked fine and whatever you're making lifts from the mold easily. The gummy bears are a standard size, maybe a little smaller than average (I'd compare it to Haribo bears) but you can make so many at once that it really doesn't matter. I bought these so that I could make my own, healthy gummy bears with fruit puree/juice/vitamins. I'd totally recommend.

Unsatisfied with purchase
Very small. Buy chocolate molds instead if you want to make gummies. The size of these makes it hard to get them out and fill the molds.

Oh I'm a Gummy Bear, yes I'm a Gummy Bear!
I ordered these molds to have something fun to do with the grandkids this summer. Before the package arrived I looked up a recipe, and since one wasn't provided in or on the box, I'm glad I did. This is the one I used and it made just about exactly 150 of this size bear (for the full and exact recipe, go to candy.about.com and search Gummy Bears Recipe).---Gummy Bears1 3-oz. package of flavored gelatin (not sugar free)1 1/4-oz. envelope unflavored gelatin1/3 cup cold waterIn a small bowl, combine both gelatins, then blend in the cold water. Whisk together and let sit at room temp for 10 minutes.Microwave for 30 seconds, whisk well. Microwave another 30 seconds and stir. If it looks dissolved, you're done. Otherwise microwave another 10-15 seconds and stir gently (try to avoid getting too many bubbles).Set the molds on a cookie sheet or tray for ease of moving to the fridge. Use the dropper to drop gelatin into the bear cavities. Put molds in the fridge for about 20 minutes or until set. Pop out all the Gummy Bears and store in an airtight container in the fridge. Or eat them all right away. That works too.---I sprayed one of my molds with Crisco but not the other two. Honestly, I don't think it made a difference. They all popped out with ease. I think the key will be to make sure the silicone is very, very clean after each use so they don't stick the next time. When I got close to the end of the bowl, the gelatin started getting firm so I microwaved it for about 10 more seconds and stirred. The last several bears had tiny bubbles throughout, but they're fine. Clean up was pretty easy with hot water and soap. Just make sure to take off the bulb part of the dropper and clean it well. I noticed some bits of gelatin down inside there after I thought I had it all clean. Now that I know how quick and easy it is to make our own gummies, I can't wait until next time the grandkids are here so we can experiment with more flavors. No more store-bought gummies for us!I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.
