These are very cute bottoms that fit well once I got them on. I think the openings are a bit tight and stiff for something labeled compression, I heard the scary sounds of threads popping as I pulled them over my hips. They are incredibly flattering on, but I did not feel like I was wearing shape wear like I expected. This could be good or bad depending on your view. I wanted a little more shaping than what they provided, but the ruching does do it’s job.

I bought because it's lined & I've owned this brand before in tights. I usually wear 2-3x on other brands, but had to do a 4x on this size chart. Even then it's Very snug getting on! Feels ok once on, just don't plan to sit in these-it will cut into your legs. Feels fine while swimming. I am finally dropping a little weight so will keep them. Otherwise I'd look at getting 1 size up.

For all the mamas with a little extra around the lower tummy these swim bottoms are made for you! The tummy control is amazing and the design is flattering. I love the high waste that covers in case my tankini top rises a little. I will have more of these!! They fit true to size.

This is my 2nd pair and I love them. The bottoms are flattering and provide good support for that lower belly. My first pairLasted me for 4 years and held up great against the chlorine.

Great fit! Awesome tummy coverage. Good dark black color. No transparency upon arrival. Unfortunately after just a few weeks of wearing and washing, the back is pilling and wearing thin. I don’t think I’ll get more than one summer out of these bottoms.

I needed a new bikini bottom after some weight gain and this was perfect. Very flattering and covered everything I wanted, while still being fashionable and not overly modest - balances well with a sexy bikini top. Didn’t hang or pull when it got wet and felt comfortable to sit afterwards. Not see thru, lined comfortably. Still felt beautiful with the coverage I wanted for a fun birthday booze cruise and beach days. For reference - I’m 5’1, 32 waist and 40 hips and typically wear a medium.

I ordered 3 different sizes of the Shapermint High Waisted Control Bikini Bottom (Med, Large, and X-Large.) It looks like I can only review once for the product, not for the individual sizes so I'll put all 3 reviews here. To start, I'm 5'10½", 155 lbs with a serious pear shape.MEDIUM - too snug. I couldn't pull it up over my thighs.LARGE - I had to carefully get it over my thighs.Once on, it felt the most comfortable, but I didn't notice any "control" feature which is one of the things that I wanted it for. Undecided if I'm going to keep this one yet. (I've ordered a few more from other brands.)X-LARGE - it was very easy to put on and fits around the thighs, but was too large/loose around my waist.The material feels nice but I disagree with the control top feature. The ruching is nice and helps to camouflage the troublesome belly pooch area a little bit.

The colour is such a fun blue! The swimsuit made me feel so confident, as it hugged all the right places and stayed put. Great quality material. 5/5!
