Safety Risk for Kids
While the kit was a good package, not all was in good order. In particular, the leather of the stringer had dry rot and my son was seriously injured the first time we assembled it. He received multiple stitches and an eye injury due to the stringer breaking. After taking it to a local dealer we were able to purchase a good quality stringer and my son uses it often and well. Sadly, after committing to sending a replacement, the company never followed through. Even though the bow seems to work well, for safety you will not want this product package. For the failure to follow up on the part of the company, this too suggests you will not want to use this company. Besides scars, my son has recovered, but I cannot recommend this product from this company.

Good starter kit with varying sizes and pull weights to dial in for you and your size.
I purchased this for my girlfriend who has been interested in stepping into archery for some time. I did some research to find an affordable, while still high quality, beginner set and found this set mentioned several times. This set is available from the company in many lengths and draw weights to get the right setup for your size (there are several sites that will help you determine what is right for your height/size etc.)I really like the takedown ability along with the storage case which is actually a bit nicer than I initially anticipated. The wrist protector is a nice touch in the beginner set as you will get some nice welts without it until you dial in your grip position. The only thing that would seal this as a true 5 star would be the addition of few quality arrows as well, even at a little higher price as I believe value would still be there. With that I would suggest while ordering to not forget to pick up your own set of arrows and perhaps a few extra targets as you will go through a lot of these when you get to a point of dialing in your accuracy, and not just trying to fit the hay bail. One other suggestion is to pick up a simple bolt on site, which the bow has provisions for. I found a relatively cheap one and help 1. dial in accuracy 2. make it les frustrating for a beginning because it gives you a consistent sighting point while you get your muscle memory.Overall a definite purchase that you may not ever outgrow, unless you want to get deep into the sport.

Bowstring isn't thick enough
I finally took my daughter out to shoot her new bow, and the bowstring isn't thick enough to hold the arrows in place. I tried Easton arrows and Gold tip arrows, and neither stay in place properly (She had to pinch the arrow to hold it in place, and that's a big no no). Other than that, the bow is very nice.

This is an awesome deal!
Bought this bow for my 11YO daughter. She loves the bow and wants to shoot it all the time. Great quality, easy to setup and take down, and comes with a nice soft case.I would recommend getting a better bow stringer as the one that comes with it is ok. I would also recommend getting another string and finger savers for beginners as it makes the shooting experience more enjoyable.Highly recommend this bow and I will be purchasing another one for my wife who now wants to shoot. I think a can hear a family competition coming.

Great Christmas Gift!
I bought this for my 11 year old grandson as a Christmas gift!He loves it! We have so much fun getting outside and enjoying this bow and arrow! It’s really great quality and very accurate! This is not a bow that you can just let them go play by themselves, it could be very dangerous and really cause injury to someone, so it is important that safety is practiced while using the bow and arrow!

Good buy great for anyone wanting to pick up archery as a hobby!
Great price for a nice bow got the 26lb kit pretty darn accurate at 50 yard and I'm a beginner never shot a bow before definitely recommend it. Nice easy string helper as well which is very helpful! Definitely would recommend a 28" or larger arrow it will help with first time use. Yes it's harder to pull back a longer arrow but I'm of decent strength so maybe around 20lb bow but definitely stick with a longer arrow and you'll have a blast! Bow is exactly like it looks in the picture as well!

Great set! (Except for you, arm guard).
While most of the equipment seems great, the arm guard I was sent is rigid plastic and uncomfortable to wear (and, if you have arm hair, remove).I found the instructions for stringing the bow confusing, but once you string/destring a few times, it becomes easy. There also were no instructions at all on how to install the arrow rests. All in all, it's a great set that I would recommend; the bow itself looks great and as pictured.

Great Beginner Kit
Nice quality bow, would have liked instructions on how to assemble and string it though, especially considering it's a beginner bow.
