I purchased my first set of these grinders in late October of 2019. It's now late February of 2023 and I finally have to replace the one I used for salt. Not because the product itself was defective. Sadly, some Himalayan pink salt contains small rocks, (it's a mined product after all) and the last bag I bought must have had some in it, because it wore down the ceramic grinder and it's too frustrating to use anymore. Everything else on the grinder still works perfectly.There are several details about these grinders that make me happy. First would be the ceramic grinder that doesn't corrode from the salt, so it keeps on grinding away for years. Being able to fill them from the top is so much easier. I like being able to see the level of product in the grinders, and they hold a generous amount so I'm not forced to stop cooking to fill them constantly. They are easy to keep clean and wipe off foodstuff that was stuck to my hands. Speaking of hands, these grinders are very easy to grip and turn with my aging hands that have lost strength and agility.They must be quality stainless steel because after multiple daily use and abuse, there's still not a spot of rust on them! I love how fine I can grind the salt, to give a little interesting salty crunch when put on top of food. I can adjust the grind of the pepper so I get just the right size depending on what I'm cooking. Fresh ground pepper certainly gives an interesting kick to food and it made me realize just how stale the pepper is you purchase already ground.What I would improve is to include a small stainless steel tray to catch the off-fall from the grinders. I keep mine on the top backsplash of my stove and it gets coated with the powdery residue from the bottom of the grinders. It just makes another mess to clean up. I'd rather have a tray then caps that have to be pulled on and off continuously, breaking your rhythm while you're cooking. This is just a suggestion, not a deal breaker.I'm reading the listing and it says it's been improved since my 2019 purchase. If the new units fail to live up to the quality of the first set, I will let y'all know. Based on past performance, I highly recommend these grinders!

I initially loved these but recently the glue on the stop seems to have warn off and I’m unable to open to refill.

I bought these for my parents, in order to get the ability to have a fine grind with the salt and pepper. It is a little difficult to get a good grip on the handles, for someone with a weak hand these may be difficult. You also have to be mindful where you are gripping in order to not change the setting. Pamphlet inside the box was useful, as it seems that these need a little time to get used to. For the price point, a good buy overall.

How long should a good Peppermill last. I purchased this product 33 months ago, I use the Peppermill about once, or twice a week… It stopped working… something is wrong with the gears inside/bottom of the Peppermill. Otherwise, the Peppermill and the salt mill have been excellent, I’ve recommended the Mills to most of my friends who come over… They are a beautiful set. But my question again how long is it supposed to last?? If it’s over three years, then this product is not the best. I’m wondering if I could return them as a replacement??? Does anybody know if this is possible, or should I just be satisfied and keep replacing the meals every 2+ years

I bought this set back in 2018. Were great while they lasted. One is still going strong but the one I use for pepper gave out after 4 solid years of good work. Adjustable grind. Good storage capacity. Easy to clean.

EXELENTE material

I wanted to try the set and did so...I was not impressed. IMHO, the grinder mechanism is weak; the peppercorns were difficult to grind and came out mixed as a fine and medium consistency.My purchase arrived in an opened box; why would a product designed to house salt and pepper, substances that will enter the human body, be shipped in a previously opened box? I do not believe this grinder set was not worth the price; I do not recommend them. I promptly ordered another set, a different maker.

The item is very pretty and felt well made when I held it. However, it came broken. The part where the top screws into the grinder came unglued and sticks to the top. I will be returning this item and not sure if I'll go with this brand again. I'm really disappointed.Update (8/27/16): The owner of the company got in touch with me and sent me a coupon code for a free set since the first one was broken. I couldn't be more pleased. I haven't received the new ones yet, but I could tell by looking at them that they'd work great. They are very sleek and they look good sitting on my kitchen counter. Thank you for the outstanding customer service. Never had customer service contact me as quickly as Shay did. Thank you, Shay! :)Update (12/21/16): I have been using these grinders for a good while. I love them. There's a fine grind option or you can grind for a bit more course salt/pepper. I plan on putting in some dried whole basil or something similar and see if that works. You won't be disappointed with this product. Great price and works really good,
