Never EVER Lick a Llama: A Funny, Rhyming Read Aloud Story Kid's Picture Book

Never Ever Lick a Llama has been formatted to be read in landscape mode (holding your device horizontally), where it takes up the entire screen. Words and pictures display together on the screen like a traditional picture book open to two pages. A lot of self published Kindle authors can't be bothered to format their work and it displays like a mess with bits of text on one page and an image on a small part of the screen on another, so I always like to take the time to point out when authors care about their reader's experience and their own work enough to take the time to format it.What's here is funny, but there's not a lot of pages. Beside advice on the outcome of licking llamas we also visit lions and a couple of reptiles, but it really needed a few more animals to not seem a bit short. But the text rhymes, it's clever (sort of cheeky in lecture style) and the cover is a great example of the illustrations found on the pages inside.

This is a fun and unique story. The wonderful illustration on the Children's and llamas faces will make the reader enjoy the book even more. You will never, ever want to lick a llama or a lion ever in your life. Yes, there is a lion too. Hold onto your sides because the laughing is about to begin. I highly recommend this book.

A lovely picture book to get one's day off to a great start.

My 7 yo read it to his little sister. They both laughed and had a good time reading it. The images are funny and the story fun to read.

My daughter really old loved this book. It's a fun story and was lovely and colourful and encouraged her to read it herself.
