I like this book. Dr Laura has an interesting perspective.

This book not only explains the history and theology of each of the Commandments, but also describes their influence on law, morality, and society today, and provides helpfully detailed examples that really get you thinking in broader terms about a great many things.For example, it's one thing to understand that murder--the taking of an innocent life--is wrong. It's also not too hard to understand that lying about someone is wrong. But to make the leap that lying about someone (perhaps because you covet something they have and are envious!), leading to that person's inability to get a job and support their family, is essentially symbolic murder. Dr. Laura challenges her readers to really extrapolate the meanings behind God's laws, and I personally feel a greater respect for my fellow man having read this book. It's heavily highlighted and my family has spoken about it at length!

I really, really enjoyed this book. As usual, Dr. Laura does a great job. I wanted to have a teaching about the Ten commandments and she opened my eyes again. The service was great and timely. Thank you

well written and full of wisdom. not for the politically correct but for those who search for the truth. read it while you are still young. i am serious.
