Stonewall Kitchen Mango Chutney, 8.5 Ounces (Pack of 2)

Yes that's right... France the nation known world wide for its exceptional food blends, "savoir faire" and culinary variety didn't have this chutney that my French relatives went wild over. We looked all over but found nothing like it in French stores when we were in France this past Spring. Then when we tried to describe it as a taste, we drew blank stares. So-o-o-o, when my grandchildren returned with us to the US for a summer vacation with "Grandpère" and "Grandmère", we made sure they tasted this chutney with assorted meats meals. Immediately, no ther condiment was wanted. It was as though they were ready to smear it in between two bread slices and eat Chutney sandwiches without meat. They went home France weeks later with every jar of this mango Chutney we'd ordered from Amazon. If it weren't for the high price of sending this product overseas (along with customs duty) I'm sure the kids would have this in their fridge all the time like mustard or ketchup.

Was happy to find this mango chutney here, as the brand I used to buy in the grocery store was discontinued. It was expensive, and this is more expensive. So, mango chutney must be a delicacy item. I use it on salmon. Mmmm . . . yum!!!! Guess my "champagne taste on a beer budget" isn't applicable when it comes to mango chutney.

My wife like this chutney over most on the market. It is just right to mitigate normally hot Indian cuisine.However, this is the second time we’ve received a box of 2 bottles where one bottle is terribly broken. It’s interesting because the box they came in perfect shape.

Definite fan of this chutney. Have been a chutney consumer for 40 plus years. This is my fav.

Jars arrived damage, cracked, unusable. Amazon website said,"No Return". The website said for a Refund, click on Return. The Return webpage said,"No Return".I phoned Amazon. The Amazon Agent arranged a refund.Great product, super flavor, poor shipping.

This stuff tastes great. I put it on poached salmon. Also makes an excellent hostess gift!

Good chutney is hard to come by. This is the best on the market, to my way of thinking. It is very difficult to obtain this item from most grocery stores--at least where I live.

Great on toast, but also great in recipes!
