The ME0709 has more torque than the ME0708 and has the advantage of running slower which is nice so you don't have to do so much gear reduction. If you are interested in getting the maximum amount of performance for this motor, take a look at kit # 4 that runs this motor at 72 volts. Motor is rated at 8 hp continuous & 18 hp peak, C-face mount with a 7/8"x 1-5/8", 3/16" key & weighs 38 lbs. The Alltrax controller is a 400 amp. With the pull down on the right you can add an option for Magura or Curtis PB-6 Throttle.
