Stripping under the door may stop larger particles of dust and reduce the intensity of noise but,it would not stop seepage of rain water under the door.Considering the material used ,very expensive.

No sound insulation. It sucks!!

While it does the job of plugging the gap between the floor and the door, the quality seems a bit low. Doesn't really feel Rs300 odd change product quality. Maybe if it was sold was around 50-100 it would be ok. If the product was sold like a roll instead of std length it would be better. Because you have doors of different length and it would waste of material. Hope the manufacturer would note this & sell it on a per inchs/cms.Final thoughts: Having spents 700 odd rupees have to see how long they last.

The draft excluder is easy to install. You only need to cut it to size on the inside and outside of the door. We also fitted one onto the main door where the prevailing summer wind blows dust in. Results - warmer in winter, cooler in summer. Dust blocked and a cleaner house. Also reduces noise from outside, helping to concentrate on work and classes for the children, which is an added bonus.Updated February 2022:Still works well. We fitted to several doors and only one has had some minor damage. Has worked well this winter to keep the cold air out.

Width of your door is very important...check the width before buying this type of product. For me it fitted perfectly. Very nice product
