I like these hooks better than the traditional ones. They are gentler on my hands and require less grip strength than basic metal ones. The only reason I took off a star is that the silicone slips off slowly so every hour or three you have to push it back on. The case is nice and I like having it.

I got this hooks for my mother in love who really loves crocheting, she had recently developed a really bad arthritis in her hands and her regular hooks made it too uncomfortable for her. This set is great for her, she loves the thick rubber handles and says she can crochet all day with no pain.

Search no longer! This is the ultimate set for the beginner to expert. All of the accessories make sense and are needed for most projects: easy to use/store, everything at your fingertips. Love this as some of the cheaper sets I have purchased have had the hook labels worn off in one use/project. These labels are printed as well as embossed/indented on the handle.

These are awesome! Very nice zipper pouch to hold everything. I would suggest perhaps maybe adding a knitting loom or knitting board tool to the set. One with an ergonomic handle. As an added bonus maybe a small, sharp pair of scissors for yarn cutting but not necessary.

My wife loved this kit. However, she was annoyed when airport security insisted on taking the larger size hooks; alleging they were a risk.

At first, I thought this was the best kit! I love the hooks. So much better than the clay covered ones. Unfortunately, the case was constructed from cheap materials. The metal of the zipper pull actually broke and crumbled. I'm still happy with the tools but the case was just as important to keep it all protected and organized.

Really enjoy them only reason gave a 4 star is when crocheting the rubber part keeps sliding off.
