I used my coffee cups for Easter Dinner. I liked how sturdy they are. The only drawback is I wish they had included sleeves. They got so hot you couldn't hold onto them. They were similar to coffee shop cups. “I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review”.

I was looking for a more environmentally responsible alternative to the styrofoam cups I use when I want to bring home-brewed coffee to friends or to an event where I'd rather not carry my reusable mug around all day. When I was given the opportunity to purchases these Solo Compostable Cups at a discount in exchange for my honest review, I was really pleased! I was initially afraid they might be flimsy, break down quickly or be poorly manufactured because of my past experiences with some "green" products, but the lids fit really well, the cups are strong, the stir sticks are a nice addition, and the coasters are pretty darn cute! In my opinion, 12 oz is the perfect size if you want slightly more than the standard, 8 oz cup of coffee but also want to drink the whole thing while it's still hot (by the time I get to the bottom of a 16 oz coffee, it's almost always cold). I'd recommend these cups for a greener alternative to typical, disposable coffee cups!

Really great! Can't say enough about the fact that they're compostable... I generally use ceramic or stainless travel mugs but sometimes I'm going places I can't carry a mug around all day... these are a super backup without guilt.
