Simpson Racing AD850BK Adrenaline Black Size 8-1/2 SFI Approved Driving Shoes

Firstly the toe box on most of these Driving shoes are small because it helps keep you from accidentally touching the wrong pedal when your hitting the track.I am a size 11.5 and not a wide food by any means. I had to use a size 13 to even make it fit. This is true for any shoe you get, and I have tried them all.This would be a cheap alternative for someone only racing 1 to 5 times.. but I do not find them very comfortable at all relative to other shoes used for racing. Part of the reason is the material used. It is synthetic and does not form around the foot. If it does not do that, your not getting much support and that can make a difference in long distance racing.

Honestly, I have concerns that these are a legit pair of Simpsons rather than counterfeits. However, they weren't purchased from a third-party seller, so they should be legit.After a season of moderate use, they're trashed. The area around the holes for the laces has torn on both shoes, the reflectors around the heels are falling out of the shoes, and the stitching is failing in various places. For the price I really expected these to hold up better. They're driving shoes, not hiking boots, not like they're worn in harshest of conditions.
