I have tried many sprout trays and mason jar sprouter for growing longer mung bean sprouts but none of the traditional designs worked. This unique sprouter is perfect for this purpose because it provides ample space for the fleshy stems to grow long. The black plastic lid is another great feature because I do not need to find other ways to block the light. I am not experienced but light seems to make mung bean sprouts grow leaves. The construction is solid with thickened plastic.

This worked perfectly for me. Since I’m the only one that eats my sprouts - it was a perfect size. For 1-2 people this is perfect. Every component works together & used cover for soaking my seeds & covering them for the blackout period. Even used the lid as a base later. I totally recommend this product & is very nice quality. I would buy again.

The only instructions that came with it were in a language that I can't read. So I can't figure out what to do.
