I got these flowers as a bit of decor for the spa-area of our pool. Many types of pool decor are for parties only, but I wanted something that I could leave in all the time—not just for a party. These flowers are bright and colorful and I really like them! I hope that they don’t fade in the sun too fast—I will post an update in a few weeks to let you know. They are made of a thin flexible foamy material. In case it helps you to decide if these are just right for you—they are fairly shallow (not deep). They float right on the surface of the water without much extending underneath the water. That’s a bit of a challenge for me because the spa where I have them has waterfall effect all around it where the water spills over into the pool, and sometimes the flowers will go over the edge of the spa into the pool. I don’t want that because then they will end up in the pool skimmer. I am thinking of tying something to the bottom of the flowers to add just a bit of weight/depth to them (like a plastic disk) to hold them in the spa area and keep them from floating over that very slight waterfall.Overall, so far I am very happy with these.I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. For the price these are a great value. I use them as a honeybee water station in a pool, though that's probably not everyone's use for these. This year we bought some larger, more expensive floating lilies to "upgrade", but those flowers remained dry, whereas these ones remain partially sunken. So I just ordered 2 more of this product because it worked so well last year for the bees.

These are very bright and pretty, but not as big as I thought they were going to be. I think someone had their hand cupped in the picture to make them appear larger than they are.
