I was surprised how easy these were to install. They give you the pin out color coded right on the side.

Product does the job it was intended for. Used basic cable that was laying around and the punchdown and cable are still pushing at least a gigabit speed.

The punch down hold the wires and mounted in the plate perfect. I would buy again if my wife moves the computer to another spot.

After an hour of debugging my other connections the last spot I suspected was the weak link. Pins inside the jack itself were bent and not making a connection. Not sure what kind of QA/QC these go under but I have never seen something like that. I do not recommend.

I had cat5 (or cat6) cables for my computers on the floor, decided to make a neater appearance. I fed the cables up the wall and out the common receptacle box. Punched in the wires as needed. Now the computers each have just one cable to this dual plate. Looks much nicer.
