Works great for me.
I purchased this ink specifically for the Pilot Metropolitan Purple pen I bought at the same time. I stick to permanent inks and this one fits the bill. I'm happy with the lack of smudging and smooth flow - ink goes where I want it to and tends not to feather compared to what I'm used to with the Noodler's ink
