Our kids are actually rarely allowed to just walk around with our expensive electronics. I know we are meanies. But, that privilege must be earned around here. That being said, there are rare occasions where a younger child would have access so the iPad. The case we have it in is definitely not robust or drop-proof and if dropped the iPad would be quite broken. So, this is a great case for those times! The front has enough cushion that if dropped on the screen it would probably be ok (depending what it was dropped on). The rest of it is very robust. Ours wobbles a bit when it stands is the only reason I don't go for a full 5-star rating. It's a very nice item!I received it at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I honestly like it quite a bit and it is going to come in handy whenever the toddler has her rare access to it! Even our 8 year old may use the iPad with this case from now on. I'm a stay at home mom of eight little ones all aged nine and under, yea crazy right. I also homeschool them. Being we use many different things for schooling, some online, all the kids of age have a tablet. That's a lot of tablets, not including mine, which keeps the baby quiet on busy days. Though we have tried and been through plenty of cases, we have never tried this particular type. So when I came across it, I knew I had to give it a try. Upon arrival I was very pleased with this case. I knew almost instantly that it would be a hit here. These cases are made extremely well, much better than I was expecting honestly. The material is very durable, yet soft/bendable enough for the kids. The whole color is great and the whole design is put together nicely. I put it on our tablet almost right away. Its very easy to get your tablet into place as the edges do bend a little. However once in, they do not move at ALL. I handed it over to my two year old and went about my day. That night, when it was time to charge the gadgets, I assessed the tablet and case. To my surprise it held up extremely well. There were a few small, basically unseen to the naked eye, scratches. There was also a little dirt/chocolate marks. I got a baby wipe out and gave it a good rub down. It all came off instantly, aside from the scratches, which you can barely even see. I was so impressed with this case, like truly and utterly impressed. I love the arms on it, because it gives my two year old the chance to carry it around with ease. There really aren't enough positive things I can say about this case, I'm so glad we were able to try it out. I'm completely happy with my purchase and I will be recommending it to my family and friends. Along with gifting them to my nieces and nephews. I have no dount that it will last a while to come, being its made so well. I will definitely be ordering more in other colors for my other kids as well. The ipad mini case quality seems way better than the old case we have. The case does not cover all buttons and ports. It's not heavy but virtually identical with speck products, except that baby2kid ipad case is a bit cheaper in price. It's comfortable to use with its soft grip handles on both sides. The short legs allows the device to stand freely on a solid flat surface. Interesting design and cute colors to choose from. The soft rubber material serves as a cushion when unexpected drops or bumps happens.I received the product at discounted price in exchange of an honest and unbiased review.
