I have two of this lock. The old one was purchased during their Indiegogo campaign, since I found the lock useful, I bought a bundle this time that comes with security doorbell. The locks are good looking with their dark metal finish, and the build quality is good. Installation guide is simple and intuitive, and I did not have any trouble installing the lock. It seems that they also have youtube tutorials if you need them. Some features are very convenient. I buy food down the block a lot and I don’t have to carry the keys with me all the time since I can use my fingerprint to unlock doors. I have several Bosma products now, and I believe their products offer good value to the money.

Do not buy this device!The door lock is extremely glitchy it's very sensitive in the sense that you twist a little too much or if you move it past where you need to it'll burn the motor immediately. It's obnoxiously big. My guests complain about this: You have this button you can press to unlock. it hardly works it's just bad materials. Now the camera is a beauty too. I set up the chime option because I plugged it to my chime cables. I did everything according to the instruction manual I followed every step I messaged back and forth with bosma because the camera kept freezing and it was burning hot. I did the whole reset that tutorial they have which is this long process you have to pull the memory card out and put a file in there and put it back in the camera and do this so that it installs a new software. It worked for three more days. I have email back and forth only to be told that I'm past the return window even though I'm on my third set of devices because just tell me to try out a new pair. SCAM

My garage door lock has never been on line. I have called and sent many requests for help no have never received any help to resolve this issue.

The door lock is easy to install. I was able to install the door lock by myself. The door lock pairs well with my iPhone and I didn't have to go through any trouble during the pairing process. I was originally afraid that the installation process and the phone pairing process would be difficult. But it's not at all for this product. Loved this!!!The quality of the security camera is also very high. The videos are very clear.Would recommend to a friend!!

Bottom-line: I ended up returning this because of it's flakiness and general unreliability.This combo looked like a great value, and if it had performed as advertised it would have been. To place some context, this was installed at a rental property we just bought and the intention was to provide service vendors easy access to the house.Let me cover what worked well:• Video doorbell camera - once connected to the WiFi (mere feet away), I could get a reliable, high-quality video stream from it.• Bluetooth locking and unlocking - mostlyYeah, that's about it. Actually, both of those items have caveats, along with many other issues I had.• You have to have a WiFi gateway to allow remote access to the lock (which was an absolute requirement for us) and the Sentry doorbell provides this (in theory). The pairing between the Sentry (video doorbell) and the lock stopped working too many times to count. We would have to toggle power to the Sentry at least twice and then attempt pairing again. Note that you *have* to be within Bluetooth range to do the pairing, so if you are away and it stops working, you're out of luck (happened many, many times).• Even with a formatted SD card inside, it refused to write any events to it. I didn't try their cloud service (unlike vendors such as Wyze, the don't give you even a complimentary period for cloud storage). So - I would consistently get notifications that there was an event, but I couldn't review what it was after the fact.• I never got the fingerprint reader to actually do its job. I was able to successfully register *a* fingerprint (at least according to the app) but it never allowed me to open the door by using my finger (thumb in my case).• Various odds-and-ends just didn't work well (too many to mention), but they were minor annoyances compared to the above). Quick example - when I first installed the doorbell, the chime that was already there would randomly sound (like someone was pressing the doorbell) every 10 minutes or so. This went away after a day or two.Summary: I'm happy for those who had better luck than I did with this set, but it was a lemon from the start to me. I should have stuck with known vendors (it's being replaced by an August WiFi lock and a Wyze Doorbell camera, both of which I have at my own home).

loud buzzing from the wall chime after I purchased the recommended transformer. The Sentry unit was very hot to the touch, their customer support was non existent. I removed the outdoor sentry and just used the door lock. Consumer Reports rated the product very high, not so.

The media could not be loaded. I have purchased this combo on Feb, 2022. Almost 2 years and I absolutely love it . In 2022, I have purchased it for 180$. So at this price range right now 75$ ; in November 2023, & if you are smart technology lover , I would BUY this lock 🔒 the best smartest lock out in the current market right now.Not judging any negative comments here but that has only helped to lower the price of this amazing lock. So be SMART & but this smart lockThank you 😊
