Hot Sauce Pasilla Morita Piquin Real de Morales Delux

These salsas are heaven! These won’t last long in my house. I love this type of salsa, the dried chile ground up with oil. When I opened the jar, my mouth began watering at the wonderful scent of the chiles. Morita and pequin are two of my favorite chiles, they smell wonderful and they taste just as wonderful as they smell. I prefer to use this type of salsa right on my food. Yes, they will be delicious in caldos and such, but I love them right on my rice, my beans, or in a taco de salsa with some onions! These salsas are high quality, and taste delicious. Honestly, the smell is wonderful. These are authentic Mexican sauces. Give these a quick stir before using, and store them in the refrigerator.The Morita Sauce – This is my favorite of the three. It’s a little spicy, it has a smoky flavor to it. The color is beautiful, and the scent is mouthwatering. I can put this sauce on everything, from rice and beans to potato chips to zucchini and onion to tortillas!The Pequin Sauce with Peanut - My second favorite of this trio. Pequin is a tad spicy as well, but I like it HOT so my idea of slightly spicy could be extremely spicy to someone else. Pequin also has a gorgeous color and wonderful scent.The Pasilla Sauce – This has a beautiful, deep color. It’s not spicy at all, but has wonderful flavor and excellent scent. While it’s my third favorite, it’s still very delicious. I wish I could make salsas like these myself, but I haven’t been able to get the oil to chile ratio right yet. I’m excited to try the other flavors they have, They also have sell a trio of chipotle, morita and arbol. Chipotle and arbol are fabulous peppers for these types of sauces, and I’m dying to try them. I received these salsas for a discount, in exchange for my honest opinion. The opinion I’ve expressed is my own. I highly recommend these.

I have to comment on the presentation of the product when you initially open the packing. It was beautiful. The little box it comes in is a tiered wooden box with sliding doors for each sauce which make this a perfect gift and extremely cute! First of all these aren't actual sauces. They are mainly oil mixed with spices but they all have their own unique flavor and they are still VERY good if you like spicy stuff. However, none of these are dipping sauces as they almost look to be in the pictures. A little goes a long way and usually a spoonful is just enough to add that extra flavor you're expecting. The Arbol Pepper Sauce isn't bad. It definitely brings out the flavor in a steak and isn't too overwhelming assuming you don't use too much. The Morita Pepper Sauce with Sesame gives has almost a smoky flavor much like hickory and is by far the hottest of the 3. It's more so of a delayed hot and you don't realize how hot it actually is until a few seconds after you have eaten it so I highly recommend little quantities, especially if you don't like extremely hot. This one for me was the best when used in the proper amount because I felt it added the best flavor to food. The Chipotle with almonds was the least hot. I enjoyed this one mixed in scrambled eggs and it added a perfect spiciness to it. This is however, another one that sneaks up on you so make sure you don't use too much. As a whole these sauces are great but to me they aren't a dipping sauce and are more so a "flavor addition" sauce. First thing! I did buy this product at a discount, but just like any coupon, just because you got a coupon doesn't mean you love the product right? So just keep in mind that I did receive a discount but they don't know me, I don't know them, and the whole point of anyone reviewing anything is to make sure that other people like me don't buy bad stuff and you can be completely honest.Sure, freshly made, or store bought warm tortillas are great on their own, but they can be even better with a spoonful of salsa or a splash of hot sauce I've been a mission to find some new hot sauces that tempt my palette. I came across Real de Morales Gift Pack Hot Sauce Pasilla Morita Piquin on Amazon and decided I am going to give this a try. When I received my product my heart skipped a little beat as it came in the cutest gift pack ever. The smells are so exotic and yummy I cannot even have words for these aromas.We decided to make shrimp fajitas with a mango lime slaw. Oh my, it was spectacular with these. Thewhole family, which includes some picky eaters loved it. The Piquin Pepper Sauce with peanuts I loved on straight warm tortillas and chips dipped in it. I am weird I know. Saturday we are going to make chipotle chicken tacos and enjoy these sauces again. Honestly, there isn't much left, so I had to order more. If you are a hot sauce connoisseur you need these in your life.
