Very easy to adjust the size.
This was purchased for a 2.5 year old and fits her large head very well. The straps are quick to adjust the size. I'm involved in roller derby and am very picky about helmet fit, and I have no complaints about the fit of this. The design does have backwards print for half of the helmet, as shown in the images.
