Cool and comfortable!
Bought this to use for a retreat where we were going to be sleeping in cabins with bunk beds. The linen and bed sheets were supplied by the cabin but I brought the sleeping bag liner with the Insectshield just in case. I found out later that Permethrin does not provide protection against bed bugs. Oh well, at least the sleeping bag liner still protects against fleas and ticks. Luckily I didn’t need to test out if the Insectshield really works or not as there were no bugs in the cabin or the bunk beds. The Coolmax fabric is nice if the temperature is not too low and if you start to get stuffy & begin to sweat while sleeping. The Coolmax fabric will help to let your body breath through the fabric and keep you from getting hotter. During the night at the retreat while sleeping in the cabin, my feet started to get hot and sweaty from sleeping underneath a couple of bed sheets with me inside the liner. Once I removed the bed sheets and slept just only inside the liner my feet started to cool down pretty quickly. I would not recommend this particular liner for any cold weather activities, the Reactor series are geared more for cold weather. But this Coolmax fabric does help keep you cooled down and be advised, like the other reviews say, the fabric is very thin and sheer so your body can be seen through the fabric if your skin is brushed right up against the fabric.

Must have!
Very light! Comfortable and easy to carry. Keeps warm at night and cool in the morning. I went in Everglades, FL and there were tons of noseeum in the tent. It really helped. Whenever I was uncovered they would bite me. Put it all over and there were no bites. Happy I had it, so I could sleep well. Good value!

Compact, soft
The longevity of the bug repellent doesn't match the price, but overall it's a nice sleep sack for hot camping trips in the jungle or desert. Used it on a coolish night of about 40 degrees, and it helped marginally when added to my 45 degree bag, but was more comfortable than anything. It's a nice addition if a tiny amount of weight isn't going to be the last straw, and you like the feeling of a soft sheet at night.

bought as a gift, was impressed bought my own
In order to get my gf to camp with me I had to address her two biggest complaints: bugs and getting too hot. This solved both and I tried it out one night on my own its great to have a liner of any kind just to extend the life of your sleeping bag, and the insect shield is a well known brand but not sure how many washes the repellant is good for so I wash as seldom as I can to extend the life. I'm 6'1 and the mummy felt too constricting so I got the traveller and they really look/feel the same when packed in the stuff sack

Highly Recommend
This is so lightweight and does feel like your favorite t-shirt.I didn't bring a sleeping bag with me camping, due to the summer heat.I used this liner, and it was perfect. I actually got cold during the evening, and this was a lifesaver. Highly recommend this product for camping.
