K.F Breene has outdone herself yet again!!! 😎💥Penny & Reagan have continued to train as well as take jobs together since they, along with Emery, took down their enemies in 'Natural Mage'. Reagan is delighting in the hilarity of chaos that her & Penny cause while Penny is still trying not to die of shock or shear terror.😂 It's on one such Bounty Hunt that something goes vastly awry for our Natural Mage and Turds truly Wallop the fan 💩😳 This one may not have a fix that our group are used to or that one of them is willing to pay!!🤔😢Natural enemies need to decide if they can push their issues aside to unite under one banner ~ Destroying the Mage Guild as it currently stands!!! Penny, Emery & Reagan are all in. We know Darius is in the fight because of his Bonded Mate & his link to Penny and Emery. Will the Vampires try to seize control of what rises from the ashes of the Mage Guild? Will the Shifter's? And that's all assuming they're successful in the first place!!🔮💣💥We also get to meet a new powerhouse in this book. Cahal, He's amazing, scarily cool & doesn't seem to have a vested interest in the outcome of the Mage Guild one way or the other. He has his own task to complete -interesting 😉😎I didn't think this series could get any better but the non stop action, the bonds of friendship, love & loyalty plus the desire that some in the magical community showed to protect Penny, even against their own nature at time's, is truly something. It blew me away!!💖I will miss this group of characters SO, so much but I have little doubt that they will crop up in future DDVN series🤞💖🍀This book & trilogy is truly unmissable!!! 🎉Debbie, 1970, UK

I am already a massive K.F. Breene fan, I've read all her books and receive her news letter.But I can't emphasise just how brilliant this book is!!It has violence, intrigue, expected and unexpected bad guys, bad guys who sent actually bad, a kick butt heroine, a love story and it's all wrapped up in sass, sarcasm and wit... I love it!!If you haven't read any of her books before I recommend reading the fire and ice trilogy before this one as it explains the character dynamics of some of the main characters xx

Yet another wonderful conclusion the trilogy, to say featuring Penny the title mentioned witch, would be doing the book a disfavour because this is one of those occasions where the ensemble cast really make the book. And to then fling in a wonderful dark and mysterious stranger with a dangerous power is just cruel. I can only hope that there are more books in the works and that Mr mysterious druid will feature heavily. In fact I'd take any book set in this world. Pure escapist reading brilliance.

What a fantastic, explosive story! Love how penny, Reagan and emery all came together. This series is one of the best I've read in a long time!

Loved every minute of this book, it had it all !! Love, humour and plenty of action from the first page to the last. Fantastic characters and lovely friendships. I can’t wait to read more of this series !!
