The Key to understand the class clown
This interesting, funny story keeps you engaged all the easy to the end. I loved the fact that explains the situation from the child's perspective and the adult's perspective. Even though at the beginning it stated to sounds that clowning was OK, as the story develops it teaches the child that there is a time and a place. It also helps us adults to understand thee behavior, acknowledge what's good about it and also how to address it. I recommend this book to all parents with children in early elementary school!

Jake a must for young lads
As a grandmother of a 7 year old grandson who is an avid reader I am thrilled that this choice of a full set of paperbacks about Jake Drake has become a favorite for this delightful boy. He mentions the books every time we talk on the phone. Thanks for the guidance and good information.

Jake Drake, Class Clown
This book is funny. It contains jokes geared towards kids, ages 6 or7 and up, such as cute knock knock jokes and others.l believe most children, boys and girls, would enjoy it. The jokes are clean and it's a cute little story.

Even my girls liked it...
Most books with boys on the cover don't appeal to my 9 and 6 yr old girls. However this wasn't necessarily a "boys" book. The moral of the story is clear and positive. I now think of Andrew Clements as a sort of modern day Aesop.
