I don't see much reason in buying these anywhere else!
This was the best price I could find for this many larvae on the market when I bought these, and they were all alive when they got here. Shipping was so fast that the attached heat package was still warm. They were clearly very young and small, which is perfect for me, because they'll make more compost for me that way before I feed them to my bearded dragon! After three weeks of living in my house, which we keep at varying temperatures around 70 degrees, which isn't even optimal for fast growth, I've got pupation starting, and lots of fat, wriggly, happy worms. I think out of all of the worms, I've only seen one that was dead. One out of five thousand! Plus, that's with me feeding them a very wide range of scraps from my kitchen, and turning the compost (so who knows, I could've injured that one particular worm). I'm including a picture of how wonderful a handful of my worms are looking now! Very fat and happy.Food for thought: if you're like me in that you only have one pet mouth to feed, buying this many worms might not make a lot of sense at first. I thought that too, but then I learned that you can store these guys (alive) for months in a temperature warmer than a fridge but colder than what they live in normally. Turns out a wine cooler is perfect for BSFL storage! I compared the price of frequent small worm purchases with the price of buying these 5000 worms and a wine cooler to store them in, and it's still a way better deal to get the bulk worms. You might feed your pet differently than me, but I figure that with the way I feed mine, these grubs could be enough to last her eight months without either raising or buying more! That's just so much cheaper than buying a tiny little pack of worms every month or every other month.I definitely would recommend trusting this seller, and if I need to buy more, I'l be looking back here!

So far So good w/update
Arrived Quickly. Interesting packaging. Don't know if it's 5000 but there is a lot of them TINY.Removed about 25% and started a one colony. They jumped in and started eating immediately. Once fed and in a hot environment they became very active and growing quickly. I will be testing the remainder's longevity of the remainder, as I am taking them on a trip in a couple of weeks. I'll update on the survivability of them, to see if it matches the seller claims.Update, The starter colony is doing great. I took the trip I mentioned. The grubs were in the original container over 3 weeks. There were few dead ones but most survived. Unfortunately , the container I put them in had a lid that I put on too tight. The whole thing went anaerobic in less than 36 hours. All dead. Had to reorder.

Perfect Starter Colony
Just what I wanted, small black soldier fly larvae for me to grow out and start my own colony. Came quickly in the mail and in a very interesting 3D printed vessel filled with a mix of coffee grounds and several chunks of gel for moisture. The quantity seems about right (hard to count a thousand let alone 5000) but from what I've seen a great deal. There were a few that died in transit but that is expected.

Dragons Love Them!!
They were smaller than I had expected but the quality was there. My Baby Bearded Dragons ate them right up.
