Sport-Brella Premiere XL UPF 50+ Umbrella Shelter for Sun and Rain Protection (9-Foot)

Camo is the only great thing about this. It is NOT 9'!!! It is less than 8' wide. Misleading title for sure. Also the metal is easily bent. We already bent ours over the weekend because of one gust of wind.I bought three of these and I am not impressed they're not 9 feet wide. At all. Could have spent my money elsewhere for an I foot one and saved money. Paid $110 for what I thought was 9', but instead got less than 8'. Would have rather paid $80 for the 8' one from Costco.

La sombrilla es de muy buena calidad, resiste bien el viento fuerte y las ventanitas que trae ayudan para que no se vuele cuando se pone rudo el viento. Ya no vamos a la Playa sin ella , la AMAMOS ! La puedes usar de varios formas y si tamaño es enorme ideal para familias de 3-5 personas con niñosSolo me gustaría que viniera con una funda más resistente pues con el uso se empieza. Rasgar, pero la sombrilla está increíble!

Nice 1.25" center pole but that's where it ends. I have owned the older non-premiere version (just called the sport Bella XL) for a year now and while the centre pole is weaker it has better ventilation for wind up top and better velcro straps to wrap up the overhanging side panels. The places you put in the pegs to hold down the umbrella or ropes are also weaker now (no longer do they have the metal rings that the pegs hold onto). Not sure why they changed it in this generation. I guess it's ok but doesn't really feel like a big "premiere" type of upgrade over the older generation. 3 stars for now due to how disappointed I felt at seeing the slight downgrades in features... If I change my mind I may revise to 4 stars but time will tell!

Used it once so far. Did what it's supposed to. Was slightly breezy and it was ok. Used large ziploc bag filled with sand from the beach and placed them in the side pockets to hold down the side flaps; makes it easy to clean up. Tied off a few spots as a precaution. Vents allowed for air flow. Definitely turned some heads on the beach...in a good way. Be warned, even when packed up it is still pretty long. Felt like carrying a large sword on my back. Opening it does take some doing owing to the length and weight. Once open and set up its fantastic.I did not use it standing upright like a traditional beach umbrella so I cannot review that option.

I use it mostly when working doing landscaping. If I have to be in one spot for a while I put this up and it helps greatly. I had a regular sized one previously for almost 10 years. Used it so much I wore the top out. This one is even bigger and I love it. Works great in sun and rain. Can fit 2 people comfortably with chairs as well.
