Black Bird, Vol. 2 Paperback – November 3, 2009

A great buy

I absolutly loved black bird 1 so i was nervous that volume 2 would fall short,but all my fears vanished as soon as I read the words host club tengu! This story still rocks and I love the vassles,I am a huge fan of harem comides such as Ouran High school host club,so that was agreat touch.The romance between Kyo and Misao is brilient!!Kyo is still the HOTTEST manga charector ever!!!!! And Misao is still clueless,but in this volume she becomes a little more aware of her feelings for Kyo. I definetly recomend that all readers be 13 or older because there is violence and plenty of sexual refrences(like when Kyo's phcycopatic older brother kidnaps Misao with the intention of raping killing and finally eating her) All in all it is still the best manga out there. SO BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!

I can never get enough of these manga. It’s just a perfect series from beginning to end. 10/10 worth the read and the reread.

Have not read something like this before. The antics always make me smile between the main and secondary characters.The details are amazing, the author wrote that they made mistakes in the cover but I see nothing it’s actually what drew me into wanting to find out what the magna was about.

This is an adorable novel with a hint of maturity. I like seeing Kyo at school, but I really want to see more of the demons and Kyo's demonic side... which we got a peek at in book 1. This book is rated teen so obviously there are going to be sexual references as well as more mature and adult content.I really liked seeing the angst and hatred between Kyo's brother (whom he took the clan away from) and the clansmen. Yes it's like a harem but so is alot... think Ouren High School Host Club, all the yaoi, Bound Beauty, the Devil within... exc. The character in my eyes is a slight cry baby, but then again I might be too if I get attacked, blood drunk, claimed as a bride, memories shot, kidnapped and all around chased.... hmmmm I might be a bit of a crybaby. What I am interested in is seeing where this story goes. In Bloody Kiss the hero and heroine get together at book 2... so maybe no book 3? But in most manga it takes a while... that's the entire plot line build up. So while they didn't 'officially' get together in this book, it seems like the choice to go forward was made and I'm curious to see what trouble and enemies come in the next books. Overall it's a fun series and one worth reading.

Looks new bought used

I love this series and can not always find them at my local book store, so I buy them on here when I am fixing for the newest chapters. They always get to me quickly and in perfect condition. This will continue to be my go to place to purchase them.

As I stated in my volume 1 review, I am LOVING this story! I just finished volume 2 earlier today, and now I am regretting not ordering more volumes! The story just gets better and better, and the characters just complete the story. I love how in depth the mangaka was with the story and I like how she slowly unraveled everything. You get to know the characters more and understand their feelings, you get to see why they act the way they do, and you just understand everything in this volume. The ending for this volume really surprised me, and now I HAVE to get more! Seriously people, if you read volume 2, there's no turning back...you're HOOKED! XD

The high standard of art and story line in book one has continued. Exciting new characters are also introduced here (which continue to appear in later books in the series) This book is as good or even better than the first!

An extremely excited Daughter-in-law received vol 1-5 for Christmas this year. She was over the moon as this is her favorite Manga(?) of all time. Guess volume 5 ended with quite a cliffhanger. Now she has to wait until birthday in April :) Thank you to Amazon for having these available as very difficult to find in a retail store.

Arrived in good time. Great price for manga. Will keep buying from here. Doesn't disappoint plus great story and great range of manga available.
