A Wife After God's Own Heart Growth and Study Guide

I would not consider my husband and I to live by traditional gender roles. We both work and have careers (by choice) and have children. We share duties. There are no man or woman's job. What I like about this book is that even though some things are VERY traditional it drives home to a wifes supportive and submissive role to her Husband. Submission is not a bad thing when your husband rightly looks to you as his right hand.I found it helpful to have the study guide to reinforce the book. I'm still not through, but its an excellent reference guide especially the "Little Things that Make a big difference" section.My advice is read with an open mind if your a Modern Wife and let God speak to you through the book on what is best.

Women in my SS class are going through this book and loving it!! So easy to read, practical tips and great items for group discussion.

This is a wonderful companion to the book. It's essential for deep thinking and reflection after reading each corresponding chapter from the book. The study guide allows me to write down my feelings and concerns and then revisit them at a later time. This is a wonderful book for women's study group or discussion.

Best book for a wife! I have grown so much since reading this book. I look forward to finishing the workbook and reading more from Elizabeth George!!!

This is an AWESOME book for that 'wife' who really wants to have the marriage that will be pleasing in the sight of God. A MUST read for any wife seeking the will of God for her marriage

I'm still reading it. It's kind of hard to follow, maybe because I'm distracted by my school work, bible studies, keeping up with my business. I hope I can devote more time to it
