I'd only recently heard about this author/cartoonist. The simple drawings and language are cute and fun. Simple art that's warm, and the voice the writer uses (first person) as if it is the dog who's written the messages... it's smart and enjoyable.As this is a calendar-a-day, I am not sure whether it will be worth buying this exact item for 2022, but I'd recommend similar products by this author/illustrator.

I get this calendar every year, and I intend to continue this tradition. It is just a cuteness overload and brings some much-needed positivity to every morning. It also makes a great gift for friends (even your friends who might be more of cat-people than dog-people). Definitely worth buying.

I LOVE Thoughts of Dog. Every once I. A while my husband will ask me if the skittle is still under the fridge, lol!This makes a great gift. Now I do t care for one a day calendars, and prior to this one, I was actually disappointed by the gift, until we began to use it in 2019. After. Very short while, both my husband and I fell in love! We actually kept every day from that year to make a book. It’s written from a dog’s perspective, and is so innocent and “real”. And now more than ever we can use a little extra healing and live in our lives.Keep in mind, this sells out fast! We missed 2020 for this reason and got another dog calendar, it was not even in the same ballpark! So we pre-ordered 2022, and it’s just waiting to be opened.Now Matt, the author, has also written a short book “thoughts of dog”, I had to have it, and I do. It’s now prominently displayed in our “everything” room, after I read it twice of course. He also makes weekly calendars, which I also bought, and I prefer using my phone calendar, but had to have this just for the quotes. That’s how addicting and enjoyable they are. So buy one for you and one for a friend, but so so soon as they will become scarce!

So glad I ordered the Thoughts of Dog 2022 Day-to-Day Calendar as each day's offering from Dog is as charming as the one before. No matter how your day turns out, it will start off with a smile when you turn the page and see Dog's thought of the day. Whether Dog is guarding the household from the Skittle under the fridge, expressing joy when the human comes home or simply enjoying laid back time with "stuffed fren sebastian", the thoughts are totally adorable! Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

After seeing how much fun my mom has with her day by day calendar, I decided to purchase one for my family as well. I hung this calendar in a central location in our home (My husband figured out how to hand it as it really is meant for tabletop use. It has an easel type back so it would stand on a table.) Each day one of us peels the day off to reveal the next. Each day has a cartoon and something witty. They are things that a dog is supposedly thinking about and it is funny, but makes you think too. It has only been a few weeks, but so far we have been peeling off the days on time (something I hope we will be able to continue to do as the year progresses, but that I have failed at in the past) and it is a fun family converstation! (This is my HONEST opinion. I purchased this product and was not paid nor compensated in any way for my review.)

I may be a bit biased because my dog looks incredible similar to the dogs in the cartoon, but I 100% love this calendar! This is my 3rd year buying one, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Sometimes I wonder if they the captions are so accurate I see my dog thinking it. It beings a smile to my face every day. My wife and I even text each other photos of the calendar every day is the other is on travel because we enjoy it so much. Makes a great gift, but I love it for myself too. If you are on the fence, just buy it. You won't e disappointed.

I always get a different page-a-day calendar for at work. My coworkers and I have enjoyed daily positive vibes, jokes, and new words for the last few years. This year I was gifted a calendar and it completely missed the bar and was not at all as entertaining as we had hoped. Two weeks into January I ordered this, and it did not disappoint. We live for this dog’s adventures and clever descriptive phrases. We all have our own dogs as well, so many of the days are relatable and open the door for some great morning dog conversations. Will absolutely buy this again!!

Very cute, guaranteed to bring a smile to my face for at least 30-60 seconds per glance sometimes accompanied by a giggle and a need to share the day’s cuteness with my coworkers. Brings to mind my favorite pups. If you have ever loved a dog, it’s worth every penny.

It is a joy to read the cute thoughts of the dog everyday, I love this calendar and am enjoying it for the 2nd year now.

This is my third year getting this calendar and I think for any dog lover it’s a must. Each day there is a little thought and if you ever wondered what your dog is thinking well this is for you.

Some days the quotes really resonate with me. It really cheers me up to read them.
