I am a huge fan of Naturopathica products. This one comes in a somewhat small jar but a little goes a long way. I didn't have to use a whole lot to get my face moisturized, soft, and supple. This face cream is a bit on the richer side and does a great job of moisturizing skin that needs to be quenched. I sometimes get milia from rich moisturizers but my skin did just fine with this product. I hadn't use this in a while, all summer long, but as we are approaching the cooler months I am back to using this regularly. This cream feels gentle on my skin and I didn't experience any irritation. I have been switching face moisturizers every few days as I have several jars of face cream on rotation and I love coming back to this one because of how gentle it is. I reach for this on days I want something moisturizing without any harsh chemicals (anti wrinkle, brightening, etc). Once I'm done with this I might just get the big jar. If your face is feeling quite dry do give this a try. You can get the small jar like I did (0.5 oz) and see if your skin does well with it before committing to the large jar.

This tiny .5 ounce jar of facial cream is like a sample jar of cream rather than a full sized one. I was very excited at first when I opened the jar and saw the thick cream inside. I am one who loves thick facial creams because I have super dry skin. When I first applied it, I liked it a lot. It was, indeed, thick and quite heavy which is what I like. But it pilled almost immediately. It balled up on my face and I ended up removing most of it with a tissue.The next time I used this cream, I used much less and that helped with the balling up but it still happened. It doesn't stay smooth on my skin for some reason. I certainly couldn't wear it under makeup. At night, I could wear it even with the balling and pilling and I have. It's hydrating but not more so than other thick creams I have that go on smoothly. I love the consistency but hate that it pills so badly and stays sticky.

I must admit, I did kind of wonder if Naturopathica Marshmallow & Microalgae Sensitivity Soothing cream would remind me of marshmallow fluff...would it be sticky and gooey like the food?Nope. Its nothing like marshmallow fluff. lolThis is a nice, thick cream. Don't let the 'thick' part scare you. I have no issue applying it. It takes a few minutes to absorb and when it does, it does not leave a heavy feeling behind nor does it cause my skin to look or feel oily/ greasy. The instructions say to apply a 'generous' amount of cream. Quite honestly, I'm not sure why a 'generous' amount is recommended. An amount roughly the size of a dime sufficiently covers my face. (It can also be applied to the neck...I do not use it on my neck) Once applied, my dry skin is moisturized. Dry skin and eczema is soothed and calmed immediately. The redness due to inflammation decreases soon after.The cream comes in a small, 0.5oz jar...perfect size to fit in a purse, gym locker, won't take up room in a suitcase when traveling, etc.I'm happy and satisfied with the results from this cream.

I really like this luxury brand as they have very effective and high quality products. This smoothing cream came in their signature blue packaging and I ordered small size of it. The texture is very creamy and it's very easy to apply. Just a small amount of it does the job perfectly. You just need to massage it a little bit on your face and it absorbs into your skin. I have dry and sensitive skin and I love how great this product works on my skin. It makes my skin super soft, smooth and hydrated all day long. I use it everyday in the morning and it works great =even for under makeup.

Wanted to try something new. There are millions of skin products out there. My skin is usually dry, sometimes oily, and is prone to acne/blackheads. I like moisturizers, things that reduce irritation, are gentle, make me look and feel better. This is a very small product but I feel like it has good potential. So far nothing negative to say and keeping my review negative as I haven't noticed anything yet. will update when/if I do!

This pretty little blue jar only holds a half an ounce, but this white Naturopathica Marshmallow & Microalgae Sensitivity Soothing Crème packs a punch. Feels very clean and does a great job at moisturizing the skin. One of the things that really surprised me is how fast and easily this very intensely rich facial crème absorbs into the skin. Great for dry skin. Leaves the skin without oily or greasy residues, yet provides a lot of nourishing hydration.Best for those with normal to dry skin and being very good for those with the driest of skin. Moisturizes without oily substances layered over top of the skin. Very soothing and should be good for those with sensitive skin. There is no scent to this cream. Nothing but hydrating goodness.

Review for: Naturopathica Marshmallow & Microalgae Sensitivity Soothing Crème: Moisturizer for Redness and Sensitive Skin. 0.5 oz.I have used and really liked other products by this company so I jumped at the chance to try this one.The cream is white and a bit thick. It massages into the skin nicely and does not leave my skin feeling oily or greasy. I like how it feels, very pleasant and very moisturized. I am dealing with a bit of redness right now and so am using the cream to calm that down and it does seem to be helping.I really like that the list of ingredients is available on the product page. I suspect that I have problems with an ingredient that is in some facial creams so I was able to check to make that was not included in the list for ingredients for this product.

This is a 1/2 ounce glass jar of facial cream. For me it was too heavy for daytime use in the summer. It left my face shiny and feeling coated which was not good in the humid summer time. I had a hard time putting on a thin layer, I had to use more product than is typical to get it to cover the skin. This works best for me as a night cream. I do not detect any fragrance here. This seems like a luxury product but this is too expensive for me so I will not be purchasing this when this jar runs out.
