I bought this to work with my Samsung Dex setup and it works like a dream. Since the new galaxies are not made with headphone jacks adding speakers has been difficult. I truly prefer wired speakers to Bluetooth. I will mention i do not have a genuine dex setup(I am not sure if that makes a difference). If you use apps that force you to route the sound through the phone then i highly suggest this product.

Plug it in and Windows 10 sees it as a USB audio device. I used this to add a second set of speakers to my desktop for my sim racing rig. All of my sims are set to use those and Windows' default is set to my desk. Provides good separation of duties for one PC. Can't speak to the sound quality of the DAC in this adapter, for my purpose it works fine.

Tried several other brands of this to hook my headset mic up to my mac. All the others delivered a very bad mic level but this one (I have just the plain one without the volume control) works great. Mic level is full volume.

Motherboar sound out stopped working. Plugged this in and no issues. Worked without having to install software. Came in handy since the motherboard works fine.
