Q: My calf is about 16 in big. Would this aid be too small for me?

I have 16 inch calf and can make this butler work, however I believe it would be easier if I had gotten the big butler. It's getting stocking over the heal that's the big issue for me. Once it's over the heal, I can manage with the butler.

Q: What can i do if i don't have the strength in one arm to stretch the compression stocking over the semi circle initially? (then, i'll do ok.)

I had to test this first. Since you feed the top of the stocking on first, it should fit over the semi circle without stretching. Then it can be pushed down on the butler one corner at a time with one hand.

Q: Will the butler work OK for compression sleeves?

I have both butlers for sleeve and stocking and it could be possible to use it, but the butler for the sleeve has a hook that holds it in place so one can push their arm into the sleeve. If one could find a way to secure the stocking butler so you can push without it moving, it might be possible.

Q: can this work well for 40 mg compressino?

The frame is sturdy steel construction and works fine for 20-30 mmHg. I can't imagine any reason it can't work for a heavier compression unless your foot or leg are larger than the butler.
