but pretty minimal compared to the other Disney based Leapfrog games ...
My 3 year old loves this game, and it is very cute, but pretty minimal compared to the other Disney based Leapfrog games that I have seen, Considering the price (under $12, which is pretty low for a licensed character game from Leapfrog), though I feel it was a good deal and worth purchasing. I suppose if there were more activities within the game (i.e. like the amazing Jake game which has TONS to do, it would run more like $25, so it's nice there is a less expensive option out there! My kiddo probably could've managed this one at 2 relatively easily with some initial "training," as gameplay is pretty simple. The free app on Disney Junior's website is pretty similar. I probably wouldn't bother for over 4 years old if your child is of average or over cognitive ability, as it would probably start to become just too easy. At 3 1/2, this game isn't really a challenge for my girl, but she ENJOYS playing it (especially as she has gotten more into Doc McStuffins recently), and can play it independently for fun without frustration because it is simple. She is in the phase of playing doctor with her toys, so she enjoys that, and while, at 3, I wouldn't say she is learning a ton of new things with this game, she is at least "practicing" important skills (though mostly social, not particularly academic ones) when playing this game. The one thing I do really like and feel if notable, is that she can practice her fine motor skills in a pre-writing manner when stitching up the toys without undue aggravation. If you go "off-course" when following the line (which does seem to increase incrementally in difficulty), it doesn't make you start completely over, and is pretty forgiving, unlike the letter tracing in her Pet Pals game. That one drives us both crazy, as even I struggle with that one (and I don't have dexterity problems and have been writing for 35+years!). For a toddler/preschooler, that particular aspect of that other game drives me nuts, as it causes all matter of frustration, and this one is much more realistic and tolerable for a child who has known their alphabet since 1, but lacks the fine motor abilities to trace various lines with utter perfection! This game handles that aspect quite well. Overall, for the price, a great game for the under 5 set who loves the Doc character and enjoys playing doctor.

If your child likes Doc, it is a must-have!
We recently got this game for my daughter for her new Leappad 2 and she loves it. She is 5 years old, and this is her favorite game. I have played it with her a few times and what I liked right off the bat is that it is sort of like the cartoon but you are part of it all. The graphics are pretty good as far as Leappad goes, so it was appealing to me visually. You get to design band aids and it pretty much saves them all for you to go look at later, and for a 5 year old girl, I can tell you that this is a lot of fun. We designed band aids, and the fixed up all the various critters in the game, and I can see that there is some educational piece to this that my daughter doesn't realize she is getting, but she is learning new words. I liked this one a lot because it had that educational aspect but didn't kill you with it like I have seen in some of the other games. I am all for excelled learning but sometimes too much info and demands to demonstrate it to get to a new part of the game can be a turn off for a 4 or 5 year old. This game has excellent balance.

Great Game for Little Doc Mcstuffins Lovers
Really cute and fun. My daughter loves doc mcstuffins and watches it constantly. Needless to say, while playing this fantastic game she becomes doc mcstuffins. You get to catch hearts and stars and presents with a helicopter, which in turn brings more patients to be checked up on. Your child gets to select which toy she wants to fix. Your child will also be able to decorate bandages. Your child will also have easy access to hear the classic Doc Mcstuffins theme song with just a touch of the stylus. My daughter really really enjoys playing with this game. Being able to work on all the characters she see's in her favorite disney cartoon. A great buy for little doc mcstuffins fans.

Great Game
Our family loves our Leap Pad products. I bought this because it was on sale. My kids don't watch Doc McStuffins so I wasn't sure how this game would be received. Wow it has quickly become their favorite of their many Leap Pad games. While it is great for the younger ages that it suggests on the box my 6 year old loved it as well and will play it until I tell her time is up. She has probably played it for about 10 hours over her fist week and still hasn't gotten bored with it. Overall this is a great game for a preschooler or early elementary student Doc McStuffins fan or not.

cute for Toddlers
My daughter is 2 and loves her leappad and has gotten into Doc Mcstuffins recently. We bought her this game for Christmas along with a bunch of other Doc gear. My daughter goes on this game and plays the theme song over and over... and over again. She isn't really that interested in making the diagnosis yet. The "cases" are somewhat limited. They are in 3 parts. You pick the tool, find the problem, then fix it. The whole thing takes about 30 seconds. My daughter stopped after she picked the tool. On the other hand, she loves the mini games that the "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" game offers.

Best Leap Frog Game I've Ever Purchased!
The 3 year old & 2 year old love this game! It's challenging, it has lots of different mini games, it explains the boo boos just like the cartoon, & has lots of game time...each character is cured by doc 3 times spread out over the entire game play, so it's not the same ones back to back. This game is a must have for any kid who loves Doc McStuffin's. My 2 year old needs a little help but my 3 year old can do it with ease! My kids love their game so much I've even purchased some a gifts & both the Mother's & Children Love It Too!!!!

Nice simple game
Nice game for my nearly 3 yr old. She is still getting the hang of using the Leap Frog Tablet. The game is very repetitive but it intrests her. I like the different tasks it gives like tracing to help mend teddy or looking for similarities/differences between a character to help diagnose them. The graphics are surprisingly clear. I'm hoping once we connect the tablet to the comupter for updating it will unlock some new activities.

My 3 year old LOVES thia game
I have a very clever 3 year old who has completed this game in approximately 5 days (I limit her screen time so maybe 5 hours total) however she loves it and is happy to play again and again. It had also sparked her interest in fixing her own toys. This game combined with her play doctor kit has resulted in us all having our blood pressure checked and her making diagnosis of her own. I like the game it's easy to follow and have only need to help a couple of times. The only reason it's not 5 stars is the speed she completed it. But if you ask her she will say 5 star
