Although I have only had this light for a couple weeks I like it a lot. The first thing a potential buyer needs to note is that unlike some of the lesser priced versions this comes WITH the rechargeable battery and charger. It comes in a nice case to keep the extra pieces (the recharger and AAA battery pack. I use mine when I take the dog out in the back at night. We have a large hill behind our property with urban coyotes out there and when the dog barks I can see clearly for a great distance to access if it's a coyote or a skunk or a cat she's barking at. I regret there are no written instructions but the seller has been very helpful providing me with a link to the information. All the versions of this light seem to operate about the same. I plan on getting a couple more in the near future (assuming this one continues to survive the test of time).

The flashlight are very nice for the price and worth the price alone. However, the chargers that come with them are worrisome. 1 of 2 chargers DID NOT shut off when the charging cycle was completed. I spoke with the company about one of the chargers, they sent me another entire set as compensation. That charger, also failed to shut off when the cycle was complete.I would feel more comfortable with a charger that advertised overload / overcharge protection.I will be purchasing a new NUON battery & charger from Batteries Plus for each flashlight.

The already-installed lanyard keeps the light from being dropped.Reizarf’s XML T6 puts out a good amount of light but is not as bright compared to other lights that use Cree’s T6 LED chip. The flashlight’s ability to utilize different battery types makes it versatile. When the 18650 runs out of charge, readily available AAA batteries can be used with the included adapter.Zooming in and out is smooth and is accomplished by pushing or pulling the flashlight head. There is a slight metal-to-metal sound that can be heard when zooming, sound that does not exist in other lights that utilize the same pull in/push out zooming method. Particular users may find this annoying but it does not bother me at all.Reizarf’s XML T6 is equipped with 5 different light modes, bright, medium, low, strobe and SOS. Cycling between the different modes is accomplished by pressing the tail cap button halfway after turning on the light. One characteristic of the XML T6 that I found less useful is its inability to remember the last mode. For example, if you were in bright mode before turning off the flashlight, you will be in medium mode when turning it on the next time. I would prefer a specific mode to be set when turning the XML T6 on.My wish list for the next version of this kit include:1. Separate foam cutout inside the case for each component2. Inclusion of a user guide3. Inclusion of AAA batteries for immediate use after opening the case4. Ability to set a specific light mode when turning on the light (default to bright)5. Elimination of the metal-to-metal noise when zoomingIn its current state, Reizarf’s XML T6 is a good kit that provides ample amount of light for various uses such as camping, biking, hiking, fishing and normal daily use at home. The price is also reasonable. It’s a recommended purchase for general purpose use.This kit gets 4 out of 5 stars. 1 star is knocked off for lack of a user guide and its inability to remember the last mode used.

I love that it comes with a battery and charger. The case is flimsy and hard to latch closed, so I just tossed it. Charger works fine, and the flashlight is nice and bright. Love the zoom feature. My biggest complaint is that instead of coming on in the last used mode, it comes on in the NEXT mode, so you have to click through all the modes every time you turn it on.

ADDITIONAL UPDATE Feb 2018: The piece that screwed on the back and holds the battery in WON'T STAY ON!!! WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP! Lowering it to 1 star in less than one year!UPDATE.......I've had this flashlight since the end of May and use it twice daily. It has to be charged between uses and so you have to unscrew and screw back the top. Now, here lately, the top pops off randomly and doesn't stay screwed on. The threads don't look messed up in any way.....just another issue and haven't even had this thing for a year. Wish it came with 2 batteries...Now I need to buy another one so I can keep it on my hand with the strap and don't have to hold it with 2 hands because the top keeps popping off.The flashlight is fine, but the wrist strap pulled out of the plastic piece that holds the ends of the strap in after 2 minimal uses in the house. Cheaply made.

I received two of these that I ordered earlier than expected. I had ordered two of them, one for myself and one for my husband. We both love the things they do, such as the S.O.S, the strobe, and especially the bright light and zoom-in feature they have that work perfectly. It fits in my hand easily. It comes in handy for SO many things. I carry mine with me everywhere I go. It can not only help in black-outs and out camping, but the light is SO bright, it is also a great defense item to have on you in case of an attacker. With the light being Extremely bright, all you have to do it shine the light directly in the attackers face and it blinds them. I LOVE this little gem and wouldn't ever want to be without it!!!It also comes with a chargeable battery with charger to plug in. Has a battery back-up that you can also use when not using the chargeable one, or while re-charging. The flashlight is completely water resistant, so no worries if it gets wet in any way or form. Everything comes to you in it's own casing. It's a little on the the flemsy side and could be made to be stronger, but as far as the flashlight, It's worth it's weight in gold to me and military hubby. We carry them with us everywhere we go. We plan on buying more. from this seller. It can't get any better than this!!!
