Nice but Noisy
This is a nice cooler at a good price. Looks good and works well and has simple controls. The hot is nice and hot, the cool is a refreshing temp. BUT - after a few weeks the compressor became noisy. Not ear-blasting noisy but a frequent growling sound that is VERY irritating in a small office setting. You can easily turn off the compressor and kill the noise, but then it won't cool the water, so what's the point? I'd have tried to swap it out for a replacement but re-packing it for shipping would be more trouble than living with the noise.

I like my water dispenser
I did not get this one from amazon, I happened to pick one up at the local wal-mart store for $99. This is my first home water cooler so I am basing this just on what I have experienced so far and I have had this product for a couple weeks now.The good:I don't understand the one persons comment on it being loud, as I hear absolutely NOTHING at all out of mine. Maybe they got a defective unit or something, but mine has been 100% quiet. The hot water is in deed very hot. The temps has been between 159-175+ degrees. Very hot and works like a charm!I have seen many comments on other water dispensers having funny tastes for a couple bottles. Not this unit. The water tasted great and had no foul odors or tastes. There are buttons on the back to turn off either the hot or cold and also a third button for turning on/off a night light built into the unit. The not so good:I cant say for how long the unit will last as it does feel like its made cheap, but so far it has worked just fine.Cold water is my biggest complaint with this thing. It IS the reason I bought a water dispenser in the first place. I want nice cold water to be easily accessible. The cold temps are so unpredictable it isn't funny. Now, its a very small range but its the difference between nice cold water and only cool water. The temps range from 42 degrees up to 50 degrees and there is no rime or reason of why the temps fluctuate like they do. I can take a glass of water out of it and it be 47 degrees, my next glass may be 44 degrees, I can go to bed, not use it all night, grab a glass in the morning and the temp is 49 degrees. I don't understand why the fluctuation happens. I mean, if I could get a glass and its 42 and the next glass was 44 and so on, then I could see that it just takes time to cool back down, but it doesn't work that way. The temps simply are different every time and you don't know what you are going to get. With that said, if there was a way to make the water temp be in a much closer range, say 37-42 degrees, then I would be much happier with the unit. That is the big reason for knocking off 1 star. When the water is cold, its great and the hot water has always been hot enough for me so I have had no issues there at all, even with the bigger variation in temps. For the price, its not bad at all. I just wish the cold water would be more consistently cold as I really like very cold water.EDIT NOTE:I changed my rating to 5 stars. I went online and found out how to adjust the water temp to make it colder. There is a brass screw near the top of the grate on the back of the unit. You can turn it clockwise to make the water colder. Not sure but it also appears to have made the hot water, hotter as well. The coldest I have read the water was 37 degrees now. Seems to mainly stay around 40 but that is good enough for me. As for the hot water which was never that big of a deal for me anyway, my hottest temp has been 189 degrees. I have read several places that if I didnt use the hot water, the cold water would actually be colder but frankly I like the hot water for my cup of soups and will keep it on.The one complaint I still have is that there was no instructions on how to do this inside of the manual. Even if you go to primo's website and look at the online manual, it says nothing about it as well. That should be a deduction from the company, but not so much the product as it actually is working in the range that I wanted now. It just would have been better if the manual that came with it actually told you how to do adjust it.

Design flaw
I knew as soon as I got home with this and went to put a 5 gallon water jug that the design was flawed. The opening where the neck of the water jug goes and a spike in the center that go up into the bottom about 3 inches. It is made out of the same cheap plastic as the outside. I was waiting for the day the water jug didn't line up 100% correct when I flipped it over, and it was today. Water spilling everywhere because this spike cracked and came loose. Whole thing is useless now.Trying to flip over a 5 gallon jug of water without spilling it is a chore, but trying to do it without spilling AND having it line up perfect EVERY TIME?It lasted a while though, but the stress on my back from trying NOT to break this thing is probably worth more than the 30$ I saved over the better model.
