It was worn over jeans and duty belt, and it was worn over a sweatshirt. The material lined along the inside that makes contact with the body is both comfortable and creates good friction. The stitching along the belt and molle appear to be of good quality. The molle appears to be durable and sized/spaced to standard. In brief, the belt arrived as described and as expected.Personally, sizing was a concern; an educated guess. For others in a similar position as I was, it may be helpful to know I am a size 32-24 Levis jean size and the MEDIUM is a good fit. The fact that the 2 ends of this belt are not intended to touch, it made my choice that much harder to gauge. I hope that this note helps others.Personally, I did not purchase this padded belt with the HSGI inner belt. I found success repurposing a once retired duty belt, "The Wilderness Original Instructor Belt". It should be noted that this HSGI Slim Sure Grip Padded Belt includes soft velcro inside the "channel" that the inner belt feeds through. Therefore, I assume that the HSGI inner belt is equipped with hard velcro. If so, it would add more purchase between this padded belt and the inner belt. Though, I cannot speak to this first hand as I repurposed a different belt without hard velcro affixed to it.I recommend this belt to anyone seeking a "war belt" that offers molle attachments and will easily fit on top of your duty belt or outwear in general.

I bought this to distribute what I normally carry on me. This is very comfortable and the slim design ensures it doesn't rub my sides to much

I was looking at this belt at a local gun show, which is what made me decide to purchase it. I'd seen it before but without getting my hands on it, I was unsure of the rubberized interior, but it's great. I had been running a G-Code Operators belt for my competitive shooting platform, but it never offered enough stability for me. With the G-Code belt as the inner belt with this one, it's totally solid. Mag and weapon draws are flawless, as they don't flex across the belt. The padding is also very comfortable. I only gave it 4 stars, as even on their website, I didn't see, or I'm just blind, the Velcro lining inside the HSGI belt. It makes for a very difficult time passing an inner belt through it.The sizing runs small for these. I needed an XL to get the proper distance with a 36" waist.

I gave this belt an "ok" (3 stars) for the simple reason that most of the cuff cases, mag pouches, etc. DIDN'T line up in such a way that they were secure to the belt. These don't mount "rigid" like a Sam Browne, or the heavy nylon belts that are available.If you're "handy", you can make the pouches more secure with black para-cord, or additional plastic clips.Because there's 2 molly rows, as opposed to 3, nothing really lines up.The entire rig (2-cuff cases, the extended taco for the expandable baton, 2 mag pouches, and Safariland Holster,) is MUCH lighter than anything I've used over the last 25 years or so.If your patrol pants (like Tru-Spec) don't have the rubber shirt stay sewn into the waist, this belt is great for keeping your shirt tucked into your pants, as the inner material is neoprene. It's also SUPER comfortable, and DOESN'T require belt keepers.I really like the belt and tacos, just wasn't worth the money, and the weeks of re-arranging this or that.

This is THE best duty belt I've worn. It is very comfortable and it actually stays in place, due to the inner grip (very minimal adjustment is needed throughout my shifts). Molle attachments are easy to put on and are secure once in place. You have the option to use whichever inner belt you like, and I have used a couple of different ones without any issue. The only downside is the sizing: I'd advise going one size larger than you think you need. (I am a 31" so I ordered a 30.5" and it was way too small. The medium I ordered fits perfectly.) I would absolutely recommend this belt!

I love my belt, use it everyday on patrol. It’s pricey but worth the money. I’m on patrol for about 12 hours, and this belt holds up very well. Basket weave would kill my back after the first 8 hours. Like I said it’s a bit pricey but well worth it. I wasn’t it big fan until I tried on my partners belt and then decided to get one. For most people the belt rides up when you get in the patrol car but if you keep the belt tight on, you will have no problems.

Ran this while taking a defensive handgun class. 3 mag pouches and the gun. Never had an issue. the belt stayed in place and kept everything where i expected it. Was able to take the whole class (8.5 hours) without feeling the belt or feeling like the belt was digging into my hips.
