Its a plastic film, is not paraffin, therefore graft will not be able to breathe and way rotten.

Way cheaper and certainly easier to use than parafilm for wrapping petri dishes.

I spent days grafting with this plastic saran wrap and it trapped water inside growing pink mold on some and black mold on others. On a few that I didn’t wrap tightly, some new leaves were coming out but eventually died of wet mold. Just pay a little more and go for the real parafilm which has a little more thickness, looks less clear than this but works.

This is not parafilm grafting tape, no wonder I received 4 rolls of what appears to be clear cellophane. Not what I thought I was ordering. Parafilm means it has paraffin wax. This item does not, therefore no parafilm. MISLEADING. In the end, they were able to refund.

Everything was fine. It was just thinner than I expected. For grafting and limb repair it has been fine. I’ve yet to test it on my Petri dishes. I suspect it will work fine there as well.
