It is well made and beautifully finished. The only problem with it is, the the lens hood does line up square to the camera body we screwed on and could possibly causing vignetting. I solved the problem by purchasing two 49mm “O” rings and used one between the lens adapter and the lens and one between the lens hood and the adapter. This enabled the lens hood to align correctly with the lens.

great hood, well-engineered - a perfect fit!the cap has some felt which easily rucks up and crinkles - the cap is not as smooth as the original magnetic fuji one but because of the hood I find I use the cap less anyway so no problem.

Impossible to align correctly. Could not tighten sufficiently to the horizontal position necessary so forced to turn the other way resulting in it being loose and constantly out of alignment. Very poor design so will have to pay extra for the Squarehood which has a locking screw when correctly positioned.

I bought this to help weather seal my X100V. I attached a filter to the adapter ring and then to the camera. For some reason, this really messed up the focus on the camera so I attempted to remove it. The filter is now stuck to the adapter ring! No matter what I try I cannot remove it. Pliers, WD40... The product is not usable now and was a complete waste of money.

The hood fits nicely and looks great on the camera, I am really happy with it.The only issue I found is regarding the hood cover...it has some fabric on the inside, glued to the inside wall, which is pushed by the hood whenever covering it, exposing the glue and leaving a sticky stain on the hood.

Works perfectly well as does the lens cap
