Alternative to Unsightly Locks on the Exterior of Your Cabinets. Install can be Tricky.
I was looking for something that wasn't unsightly, like the locks that you put over the handles of your cabinets. This would be a great alternative if you don't have handles on your cabinets too. It does the job, but the installation is a little tricky. Lining up the lock to the plate while trying not to get the adhesive not to stick too much to either surface. I put the first one on and the locking clip would make it past the plate, so the cabinet couldnt lock. Cabinets are not like the picture they show you and I have rubber bumpers on my doors so the cabinets do not slam shut. You have to compensate for some of these things before you apply this adhesive backed pieces. In my situation I wanted to put these under the kitchen sink and since I have these bumpers I had to pull the plate forward a little so the lock would engage. While I am standing at my sink I can see the white plate through the crack in the cabinet. It is a little picky, but it is a little unsightly to me. The box provides an extra set of adhesive stickers in case you mess up. I do wish that these came with 2 magnetic keys instead of 1. I will included pictures later to make these explanations make more sense.I will say once these are put on, follow the directions to let them adhere for 24 hours before engaging the locks, these things aren't going anywhere. The locks can be turned off and on with a flip toggle switch. Our son was getting into our snack cabinet and that no longer happens and we keep cleaning products below our kitchen sink, so it was very important to keep a curious kid out of those cabinets.

Easy to install and hold up well
These cabinet locks are working great! I actually used them on some drawers that my twins were getting into and they installed very quick and easily. So far so good, they holding up well despite only giving them a couple of hours before getting used, and my twins are pretty strong. I also like that the locks came with some extra adhesives in case one of yours gets messed up. I was actually able to move the placement of one of the locks and still have functioning adhesive though, they're pretty resilient. I highly recommend these.

Doesn't work on thick cabinets.
I have bought magnetic locks from Birch Safety, Purple Safety, and Rev-a-shelf. They all worked exactly the same, and the magnetic keys were interchangeable. I currently have about 30 locks installed as child locks. I was starting to think that these magnetic child lock were all interchangeable. However, the magnet key that came with this set was not strong enough to open the existing locks. And the magnets on the key and lock set we not strong enough to work on 1-1/2" thick kitchen cabinets. The maximum thickness was not specified on the product description, but it appears to be closer to 1". I returned these and bought some more from Purple Safety, which were slight more expensive, but work perfectly on 1-1/2" thick cabinets.

Junk - Put in the effort to put in real locks
Terrible locks and terrible quality. When you first put on baby locks, you will inevitably forget about the locks and pull on the door without the key. These locks couldn't handle it and they fell off within a few small pulls. They don't stick well anymore and frequently fall off. Additionally, the little key fell and broke into four separate pieces. Overall, not well thought out and poor quality. Put in the extra effort to screw in some child locks and avoid this junk.

Keeps babies out without damage.
Easy to install. I've been calling it grandma proof too. Unless you know it's there you won't know how to open the cabinet. My only complaint is that whenever I drop the 'key' on the floor, which I do A lot, it busts apart and I have to find all 3 pieces and put it back together. And make sure the magnet is facing the right way. I finally taped it all together after doing it 10x!

Easy to install
They work and are MUCH easier to install than your typical drill-in locks. I use these for some very determined cats who hate being locked out of things and they're strong enough to keep them out. An adult could probably rip these open, but they should be fine for babies and toddlers. The magnetic key works well--I was a little skeptical, but I've had absolutely no problems. If you stick the locks on wrong, two extra adhesives are included.

Easy to Install, and Work Great!
After several weekend mornings of being awakened hearing my cat trying to finagle her way into the kitchen or bathroom cabinets (and often succeeding), thought I'd give these a shot based on the reviews and the price. Seriously, these things are solid, do the trick, and easily installed without any tools. Would definitely recommend!

Exceeded Expecations
I wondered how effective this product would be. It exceeded my expectations. The locks were easy to install, and work beautifully. They are an excellent barrier to a little pup who likes to put her nose inside the trash can cupboard. The outer cupboard lock has been removed (which was cumbersome to put on and take off every time I wanted to open the cupboard). The magnet effortlessly opens the cabinet for easy access. I'm so glad I found this product and even happier that it works so well.
