This Yellow Honey Processed Coffee was pioneered in Costa Rica and begins with farmers picking only the ripest cherries from the trees. The beans are then pulped from their outer skin and a layer of mucilage is maintained during the drying process. This is the secret behind the transfer of flavors from the mucilage to the bean leading to great sweetness and a balanced acidity with fruity undertones. Jungle Coffee is roasted in traditional artisan small batches using the highest standards and is then packaged in our resealable bags to maintain freshness.
