1st Ride bike is designed to help small kids develop the balance, steering, and coordination skills needed for bike riding faster than training wheels. Lightweight and easy to control, it's the perfect pint-sized, parent-friendly ride to help your little one learn the basics of bike riding. By removing pedals and training wheels, 1st Ride bike helps riders develop their balancing skills first – versus training wheels, which provide stability and emphasize learning to pedal. Once balance has been mastered, the rider can confidently transition to a regular bicycle to continue developing their riding skills. Made out of durable hard plastic, this little bike is sturdy and will provide hours of safe fun for your child. Your kid will be riding like a pro in no time! Assembly required.

Easy to put together
Definitely not for a 2 year old unless you have a very above average size 2 year old. Bought it for my son for Christmas and it was way too big, he was over 4 inches from the ground. Easy to put together . Other people have mentioned in reviews that the steering is stiff and it is somewhat. The tires are very slippery but typical for a small balance bike. Overall okay product but was really bummed to have my son sad at Christmas because it was so tall.

Would be perfect if the seat lowered all the way down
It's a bit big for my 2 1/2 y.o. grandson. Would be perfect if the seat lowered all the way down. Easy to assemble. Very light weight. It's difficult for him to get his leg over the bar..

Bigger than expected.
The package says it is for 18 months +. My daughter is 3 and her feet don't reach the ground even on the lowest setting. She is small for her age - but not that small.

This item is too big. I bought it for my 2 year old and had to return. It’s for a 4 year old and by time they hit four they will need a normal training wheel bike. This item should be discontinued!
