This ribbon is a great value & perfect when you do a lot of small projects and want to keep several colors on hand. The only bad part is the “flimsy” roll it is stored on. I have 3 solutions. KFC side containers are the perfect size, see thru and you can have a tail to pull the ribbon out without taking off the lid. Cheap zip sandwich bags keep the ribbon clean &allows you to mount on a pole by threading the rod thru the bag and pulling a tail of ribbon thru a small opening at the zip line. Or store in a tub or box like a ribbon file system. Last but not least, put a rubber band around the ribbon and toss into a tub or box..

This ribbon is okay. It is not like the organza ribbon that I get from Offray, but it is not as costly either. It feels rougher than Offray and the weave separates just a bit more easily when you pull on it to tie a bow, etc. They do have a sparkle to most of them. You can lightly singe the ends with a candle flame or a lighter to keep them from unraveling. I do this at the stove with the exhaust fan running.I am assuming it is nylon. I did not unravel the rolls to count the yards, so I hope they are all there.As for the packaging, I had to carefully cut the plastic wrapping away. The ribbon is wrapped around styrofoam disks with no lip edges and the ribbon has a tendency to slip off, but I suppose that keeps the shipping free and the price lower. I can live with these issues though as they are not that big of a deal. They make nice bows that keep their shape well. I will buy again if I use all of these up.

Excellent value for the amount of ribbon received! I LOVE organza/sheer ribbon, so I was thrilled to find a set with SO MANY COLORS! My only complaint: I was a little disappointed that the width of the ribbon was closer to around 5/8” instead of the 3/4” that I was expecting/hoping for; though, I think that was likely an oversight on my part in reading the product details incorrectly. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with this purchase. 17 gorgeous colors (25 yds of each) and a total of 425 yards of my all time favorite ribbon to use for crafts & gift wrapping? AWESOME DEAL!!!(Please Note: 15 of the 17 rolls are sheer, organza ribbon. However, the silver & gold ribbon is not. Those 2 rolls are an attractive, sparkly, more durable opaque weave of ribbon.) I highly recommend this set and would definitely buy it again in the future. Also worth noting, the product shipped & arrived quickly—even during the week of Christmas. We used this to make ribbon wands for our wedding, along with a few other kinds of ribbon (polka dot grosgrain, silk), and the assortment of colors was beautiful. The ribbons shimmer, rather than being just see-through, which added nice dimension. (My nephew loved them and ended up with four.) We have plenty left over for other projects!

Purchased this assortment of organza ribbon in half inch to use on my greeting cards. I really like the variety of colors and the value for money is very good also. The ribbons came on Styrofoam centers. This is ok as it wieghs less when shipping. However, the ribbons sit on top of the rolls and there is no edge to help prevent the rolls from unwinding - so care needs to be taken. Since this is organza, i can use a pin to secure each roll end(that does present a problem if I'm not careful the pin creates a hole in the ribbon.)I do like the quality of the ribbons and the colors are vibrant. Organza is very fine so the color needs to be vibrant in order to really appreciate it.
